NOTES FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY: Ryder is an adoption return through no fault of his own. He has had a hard time adjusting without his family. He is house broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash & gets along with other dogs. He enjoys trips to the dog park as he is used to having a large area to roam. Ryder will need a very quiet, patient home with lots of decompression time. Someone who can take their time with him & bring him out of his shell. He craves attention but is too afraid to ask for it. Needs LOTS of TLC. Hide or report this ESTIMATED DOB: 2-15-2015 Click the 'Ask About' button or click 'Tails from the Heart' link to see all of our available dogs. Our application is currently not online, they are sent via email once your inquiry is submitted. Upcoming Tails from the Heart Meet and Greet events. With everything going on currently with COVID-19, we have canceled our public meet and greets until further notice. If you are interested in meeting any of our pets, please email us and we can get you an application. We can then review and send to the foster family. We may cancel our home visits as well but if you could attach photos of your yard and one or two of your home that would be great. In lieu of the visit this would allow us to meet you and allow you to meet the pet and conduct a possible adoption either outside your home or at a public place where safe distancing can occur.

Bear is still much a puppy at 15 months old. He is a little mellow, but does love to play. He was found as a stray and ended up in a high kill shelter. He is obedient, and learns fast. He likes his walks and days at the park. Bear has a tender soul and will bond closely with his people. He will probably be about 70-75 pounds. He is good on a leash and loves to cuddle. He often thinks he is a Chihuahua. Bear is a very special boy, and will make the perfect companion. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative and has a micro chip.

Bella is a sweet and loving 4yo with lots of energy. She loves to cuddle and is pretty easy going. She loves to play with other dogs and does best with bigger dogs and is still working on playing well with small dogs. We are working on her mild food aggression/protectiveness (which is only a problem when other dogs are near by).
