Bear is still much a puppy at 15 months old. He is a little mellow, but does love to play. He was found as a stray and ended up in a high kill shelter. He is obedient, and learns fast. He likes his walks and days at the park. Bear has a tender soul and will bond closely with his people. He will probably be about 70-75 pounds. He is good on a leash and loves to cuddle. He often thinks he is a Chihuahua. Bear is a very special boy, and will make the perfect companion. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative and has a micro chip.

We've been trying to find another home for him but haven't had any success so far. We believe he is a 3-4 year old Rhodesian ridge back / Lab mix. He is around 80 lbs, neutered, up to date on all his shots and micro chipped. He is very playful and loving and enjoys running around outside but mostly wants to be wherever you are, even if that's in the bathroom. He loves riding in the car and meeting new people. We haven't had many children around him to see if he is good with them because he is quite strong and we worry that he might play too roughly and accidentally hurt them. He is good with other dogs, but since we don not have any cats we're not sure how he is around them. He is not food aggressive and we are sill working on some basic commands.

NOTES FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY: Ryder is an adoption return through no fault of his own. He has had a hard time adjusting without his family. He is house broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash & gets along with other dogs. He enjoys trips to the dog park as he is used to having a large area to roam. Ryder will need a very quiet, patient home with lots of decompression time. Someone who can take their time with him & bring him out of his shell. He craves attention but is too afraid to ask for it. He has the most loving face and a tail that never stops moving. Rusty loves to give kisses to everyone he meets. He is such a happy-go-lucky boy! Rusty is a vocal guy that loves to share his opinion with you. He is quite the conversationalist. Rusty loves kids and does well with cats. Rusty is part of a bonded pair with his sister, Xena. They will only be adopted together. He was found as a stray in central FL approximately 4 years ago. We are not aware of his background or what happened in his history. We think he is about 6 years old, and he does not get along with any other dog except Xena.

Joey is a 3 year old 60lb. Catahoula mix who was adopted from Operation Kindness almost 2 years ago. He loves to play with other dogs, but would do best with a dog who doesn't mind a lot of playtime. He can be a bit shy at first, but is protective of his owners once he warms up. Joey loves walks, belly rubs, taking baths, and sunning himself when the weather is nice. He is both house and crate-trained. We had a baby about a year ago and since she has become more mobile, Joey has been very wary around her and seems uncomfortable in her vicinity. We have made the difficult decision to find another home for him as we feel he would be much happier in a home without children.
