Story
Age: DOB 12/13/2024 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: No, Pumpkin would do best in an adults only home. Potty trained: Yes, on a schedule Crate trained: Yes Sweet Pumpkin is a friendly, affectionate pup who came to us all the way from the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, where she was living as a stray puppy all alone. When she first arrived, she was scared and unsure with her tail tucked. With strangers, she does still have an initial wariness, but once you are part of her trusted circle, she quickly comes out of her shell. She is a goofy and playful girl who LOVES to cuddle up in your lap, chew on bones and chase balls. Pumpkin is full of affection and gets along great with other dogs. She's also very smart and well-behaved, she's never chewed on anything she's not supposed to, and she's never had a potty accident indoors. She's a pretty quiet girl, but will make noise at appropriate times - which isn't often. She sleeps with the resident dogs at night and happily spends portions of her day quietly in a crate. Pumpkin still has some puppy energy, so she would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. However, as long as she gets daily walks or runs, she'd do just as well without one. Pumpkin's foster family will miss her dearly, but we know she'll bring copious amounts of love to her forever home! Adoption Fee: $425

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Roxy the Rottie is about 5 years old and weighs about 80 lbs. When she first became a foster, she was a very scared girl because she came from bad living conditions before finding NDLB. Roxy has already made a lot of progress coming out of her shell in her foster home, but she is still very skittish of a lot around her. Roxy was comfortable with her foster’s resident dogs right away, but she is taking her time trusting the humans. We think Roxy would do best in a home with just one larger dog that can take lead and show her the ropes in her new home. She gets spooked when there is a lot going on. Roxy doesn’t bother the resident cat in her foster home, but she should not be around small dogs because she has a hard time respecting their space. Roxy has not been around any kids, so we are unsure of her skills in that area. She has not shown any signs of aggression. Roxy’s new home will require a fenced yard as she likes to take her time outside on her own, especially for the first weeks in her new home. She does pretty good on a leash but tends to pull a little. While getting used to her surroundings, Roxy likes to have access to her kennel so she can get away from everything when she’s feeling overwhelmed. She does great when left alone in her kennel, and that is where she sleeps at night. Roxy hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home and seems to be potty trained if she is let out on a schedule. Roxy is ready for a forever home that is quiet, gentle, patient, and loving! Roxy’s foster says she does not have a mean bone in her body and is a very sweet and gentle girl! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

+++++++++++COURTESY POST+++++++++ **Maddox is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TX. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $495 for non-local adopters, which covers his transport to his new family. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.** Well hello there! I&#39m Maddox and I&#39m pleased to meet you. I must say, I consider myself to be a &#34lucky dog&#34. One day, I&#39m wandering the streets of Houston, without a home, and the next I know, I&#39m in a very nice home, with a lady who promised me that she will find me a forever home. Luck just seems to follow me and I&#39d be happy to bring that luck to your life, too. I&#39m 55 lbs and 2 yrs. old. I&#39m house-trained, getting used to the crate--not my favorite activity, and energetic. I&#39m working on my obedience training and have caught on to a couple commands very quickly. In fact, right now, I&#39m being fostered by a very good professional trainer, so you know I&#39m learning every day. They tell me I&#39m a quick study. I like people. Sometimes I like to take a little time to get to know people, but I&#39m definitely a people-oriented guy. I also like car rides, because that&#39s a bit of an adventure, too. I am good with other dogs, but I do appreciate a proper introduction. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, active dog, who enjoys taking walks, wouldn&#39t mind learning how to be a running partner, and enjoys a little chill time, I just may be your guy! I&#39m fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and have received a clean bill of health. If you&#39d like to meet me, please contact info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet. Thanks. Maddox is available for adoption thru the WAGS Fund Rescue Group. Please email info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet! +++This pet is being posted as a courtesy to another group or individual. This pet is not part of the Joyrides adoption program. All adoption paperwork will be handled directly with the party listed in the bio.+++

Story
We found Kane being kept locked in a closet while visiting our friend’s brother. We immediately started driving there every day to walk Kane and make sure he was fed. This dog was neglected for his first 2 years of life and it is heartbreaking. He is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I promise. With that being said, he is 2 years old and A LOT to handle. He is hyper and needs to be walked everyday to drain his energy. He also barks during the day if he hears noises while you are gone. However, he is NOW microchipped, up to date on all of his shots, neutered and graduated from a 6 week training course. Please give this dog a loving home. I truly want to keep him myself, but I already have 3 cats of my own in a 2BDR apartment.

These pups are in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota too!

Lovable Rocky is waiting patiently for his forever home!Rocky is a sweet 10 year old boy who doesn't act his age.  He loves to run and play and find sticks to play with.   Rocky really enjoys his people and is good with older considerate kids.  Rocky is crate trained and house broken.  He is also great with other dogs and cats.   Rocky loves to run and has gone running with his previous owner.  Rocky will jump a 4 foot fence, so a 5-6 foot is recommended.  This lovable Senior boy is waiting patiently for his forever home. Story
Forever in Foster CareReina will be a forever foster in DRM's Program.   Reina has special needs and is a wonderful dobe girl, however, if an approved applicant is interested, please let us know.  Reina is loved by many in DRM and will be loved and taken care of forever in our program.  Here is Reina's story: Reina has had quite the journey in her short life! She was accepted into an all breed rescue from a high kill shelter in the south. In this rescue it was found she had some neurological issues but x-rays showed nothing wrong with her spine. DRM stepped in and welcomed Reina into our program so we could get Reina the help she needed to thrive! When she first came in, Reina was paralyzed and utilized a cart to get around. She is now doing very well and runs like the wind ! However, she will always have some potty issues. In her foster home she sometimes wears washable diapers, but has been doing very well on a schedule. Reina is a total sweetheart and greets people with kisses! She loves stuffed toys and playing her foster siblings. She runs around the yard looking for bunnies and squirrels. She's a neighborhood hit with her sunny disposition and sweet personality. She loves to look out the window and see what's going on and when she's tired out, she wants nothing more than to snuggle her foster family. Reina is a very special girl that needs a special home!   This fabulous foster is a Doberman Rescue Minnesota foster dog. Story
Brinks is 11 years old came into DRM when his owner passed away. He was very loved by his previous family and was terribly depressed for a long time after he moved to a foster home. He needs gentle family and a lot of people around him – he soaks up all attention you can give him.  Brinks loves to lay in front of the fireplace with a good bone and treats. His favorite past time is napping and often covers himself up with a blanket. He is crate trained, but the door is always left open. He knows his basic commands and is a pro treat catcher!  Despite his age, he loves to roam around the yard and show off his deep bark – regardless of the time. He is very proud of his voice! Brinks also firmly believes that all bones should be his. You’ll often see him taking all of the bones out of the shared toy box and hiding them!  Brinks does have Wobblers and has some trouble getting up from laying down, steps are hard and he does need assistance getting in and out of cars. His foster family has carpet runners throughout the house to keep him from slipping. Because of his Wobblers, he can sometimes have accidents in the house. It’s not often and he feels bad about it every time.  Brinks takes daily joint supplements and fish oil to help with his Wobblers and keep his joints as healthy as they can be!  This fabulous foster is a Doberman Rescue Minnesota foster dog.
