I am Wagger. I am from Minnesota. Wagger is a cuddle bunny. 2yr old Rottweiler mix who thinks he is a lap dog. He will play with toys but honestly would rather just sit next to you and receive all of the love and affection you are willing to give. he has been doing good on his walks and has become a volunteer and staff favorite with his goofy personality and constantly wagging tail.

Story
Hi, I'm Laura. I'm from Texas. From the foster: I am a sweet lady who loves going on walks! My foster mom is still getting to know me but she says I'm amazing with all humans especially the 11 year old in the house, I ignore the cats, and I love belly rubs! I like to nose dive to the ground and plop onto my back for itchies! Iove toys and can entertain myself throwing them around or playing tug with a human is fun too! I'm still figuring out ques from other dogs but with slow intros could do okay with another dog, i get along with the bulldog at foster moms house but am too exuberant for the other dogs...i seem like i just really want to play. I love chewing bones, am crate trained, and I have had ZERO accidents with foster mom. I'm a really good girl and can't wait to find my forever home! From her foster: Slow intros with other dogs are 100 percent necessary. Better with smaller dogs. From the Vet: "Hi! My name is Laura, I came into rescue in February of this year and I have had a few issues that took a while to resolve. My main issue was a problem with persistent vomiting. I was given supportive care to treat this while it was happening, but the vets did lots of testing to rule out certain illnesses like Addisons Disease. I started on a Hypoallergenic diet and steroid medication and I am now showing lots of improvement. I have also tapered off of the steroid, but we think it will be best for me to continue on this food life-long or discuss future diet changes with a primary care veterinarian. An allergy shot has also helped with some skin issues as well. I came with an ear infection that has since cleared up and I will need a dental surgery that can be scheduled with The Bond Between Vet Center after my adoption (or this will be scheduled in April if I have not been adopted yet) and this procedure will be covered by TBB." I'm so excited to meet you soon so I can settle into my furever home!"

+++++++++++COURTESY POST+++++++++ **Maddox is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TX. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $495 for non-local adopters, which covers his transport to his new family. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.** Well hello there! I&#39m Maddox and I&#39m pleased to meet you. I must say, I consider myself to be a &#34lucky dog&#34. One day, I&#39m wandering the streets of Houston, without a home, and the next I know, I&#39m in a very nice home, with a lady who promised me that she will find me a forever home. Luck just seems to follow me and I&#39d be happy to bring that luck to your life, too. I&#39m 55 lbs and 2 yrs. old. I&#39m house-trained, getting used to the crate--not my favorite activity, and energetic. I&#39m working on my obedience training and have caught on to a couple commands very quickly. In fact, right now, I&#39m being fostered by a very good professional trainer, so you know I&#39m learning every day. They tell me I&#39m a quick study. I like people. Sometimes I like to take a little time to get to know people, but I&#39m definitely a people-oriented guy. I also like car rides, because that&#39s a bit of an adventure, too. I am good with other dogs, but I do appreciate a proper introduction. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, active dog, who enjoys taking walks, wouldn&#39t mind learning how to be a running partner, and enjoys a little chill time, I just may be your guy! I&#39m fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and have received a clean bill of health. If you&#39d like to meet me, please contact info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet. Thanks. Maddox is available for adoption thru the WAGS Fund Rescue Group. Please email info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet! +++This pet is being posted as a courtesy to another group or individual. This pet is not part of the Joyrides adoption program. Story
We found Kane being kept locked in a closet while visiting our friend’s brother. We immediately started driving there every day to walk Kane and make sure he was fed. This dog was neglected for his first 2 years of life and it is heartbreaking. He is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I promise. With that being said, he is 2 years old and A LOT to handle. He is hyper and needs to be walked everyday to drain his energy. He also barks during the day if he hears noises while you are gone. However, he is NOW microchipped, up to date on all of his shots, neutered and graduated from a 6 week training course. Please give this dog a loving home. I truly want to keep him myself, but I already have 3 cats of my own in a 2BDR apartment.

Story
Age: DOB 12/13/2024 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: No, Pumpkin would do best in an adults only home. Potty trained: Yes, on a schedule Crate trained: Yes Sweet Pumpkin is a friendly, affectionate pup who came to us all the way from the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, where she was living as a stray puppy all alone. When she first arrived, she was scared and unsure with her tail tucked. With strangers, she does still have an initial wariness, but once you are part of her trusted circle, she quickly comes out of her shell. She is a goofy and playful girl who LOVES to cuddle up in your lap, chew on bones and chase balls. Pumpkin is full of affection and gets along great with other dogs. She's also very smart and well-behaved, she's never chewed on anything she's not supposed to, and she's never had a potty accident indoors. She's a pretty quiet girl, but will make noise at appropriate times - which isn't often. She sleeps with the resident dogs at night and happily spends portions of her day quietly in a crate. Pumpkin still has some puppy energy, so she would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. However, as long as she gets daily walks or runs, she'd do just as well without one. Pumpkin's foster family will miss her dearly, but we know she'll bring copious amounts of love to her forever home! Adoption Fee: $425

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ozark is doberman/shepherd mix.  When she came to Minnesota she was underweight, now she is up to 70 pounds.  She is still quite lean so could stand a couple more pounds.  Before coming to Minnesota she had a litter of puppies, but now has been spayed.   Don't know which breed it comes from but Ozark has a curly tail that is shifted to one side.  So she can look a bit lop sided.     Ozark is a playful sweet girl.  She requires slow introduction to new dogs but once the introductions are over she is game on.  Ozark plays in the yard with her foster brothers - the mastiff and boxer.  She is a talker, she will try to convince us to give her more treats or get the boys to play.  Ozark plays with her foster dad in backyard racing around.     She walks well on a leash and knows basic commands.     After a busy day outside she is content to lay on the floor and chew on a rope toy.  Ozark also likes to cuddle on the coach when we watch TV.   Ozark is kennel and house trained.  If a treat is placed in the back of the kennel she walks right in.  She prefers a plastic kennel rather than a wire one. She can get excited easily and would do best in a home with children over the age of 10. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Charlie is a handsome, loving boxer mix, weighing in at 48 pounds and was born around 7/15/2018. He absolutely loves to go on walks, car rides and hikes. He gets the rest of his energy out after a walk by doing some zoomies around the backyard, so a fenced in backyard is preferred. He will do zoomies in the house as well, bouncing off the couch to run his obstacle course. Charlie also loves to nap – with his favorite spot being on our heated throw blanket next to people on the couch (or by himself on the couch, he loves the couch). He will snuggle with you when he feels like it Charlie can sleep in his kennel at night but he also sleeps well in his doggie bed on the floor in the bedroom. Charlie is free to roam the house the rest of the day as he is a very good boy, he is house trained and not destructive.  He loves being near people and is very friendly on walks, wanting to meet people and other dogs. He is learning to sit and let others pass by, though he really wants to play. Charlie does not bark a lot, unless he think someone might be coming to the door or he sees someone on their deck. He is still a little nervous and can get spooked easily, especially when he hears noises he doesn’t recognize or gets touched (or reached for) unexpectedly. Strangers and small kids running around make him anxious, so he needs a home either without kids or with kids 10+. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bronx is a 70 pound Boxer/AmStaff mix born in January of 2014.  He is taking Apoquel for allergies and need to continue to be on this medication ($60/mo).    Bronx has been in and out of Wags foster care for years, through no fault of his own. His families have had to move and could not take him with them, or they have gone through divorces and been forced to surrender him. He is an excellent, gentle dog with all people, dogs and kids. No cats for Bronx.    Bonx loves his people. You will never go to he bathroom alone again. This guy is a couch potato and loves snuggling next to you. He would love to sleep in your bed with you at night, but will also begrudgingly lay on his own bed next to yours. He loves car rides. Very quickly he'll come to know your "signs" that you're getting  ready to go and he'll begin to tippy-tap dance all over, singing (it really is singing, you'll see...it's adorable) that he'd love to tag along.  Bronx loves walks but does need more help with his leash manners, as he is a very big, strong, intimidating looking dog.    Bronx is house and crate trained, he stays in his crate while foster mom is at work every day and does great. She asks him to "go to your crate" with a small piece of cheese and he happily trots in and lays down.    If you're interested in Bronx, fill out an adoption application and his current foster will be in touch. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
