Buddy currently lives with 2 cockerspanials, 2 cats and 2 humans, and is loved by all. He is an energetic 3 year old that plays well with all of us. Buddy loves to run and play. . He is fed Purina Dry dog food and an occasional can of wet food.. Buddy also enjoys his milkbone daily. He has a wonderful sweet attitude, loves to walk on leash , and go for car rides. Buddy does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. .if you have any questions, just ask. I am having to give Buddy up due to my physical health problems. Buddy came to us through Pet Smart in Alliance. BUDDY needs a loving family, that has time to spend with him.

Story
Hello, Buddy was adopted from a bad home at birth and picked up from someone who was selling German Rottweilers. I instantly fell in love with such a kind hearted crazy puppy! Buddy has stayed with my family for almost 2 years, but recently the landlord is demanding we get rid of Buddy. I love him with all of my heart, I don’t care about money, or anything relating to money. I’m looking for a loving home. He’s a protector, and may not be friendly at first, but he’s never attacked anyone and is extremely loyal. Losing him is a really sad feeling but I am left with no choice. Just to reinstate that Buddy May be aggressive on the first meet, I’ve never tested him with other dogs, or other people. So experience is necessary. He isn’t a very large Rottweiler and he is so fun and creative, extremely intelligent and know how to sit, stay, lay down, and play fetch.

Story
Cerberus is a year old Rottweiler mix(we think he might be mixed with lab & shepherd as well) that we adopted when he was three months. Hes a wonderful, loyal and intelligent boy who needs an active owner. He loves to cuddle and give kisses, and having his head scratched. He was in training for service dog work for a while and knows two tasks for assisting anxiety & obsessive compulsions, and would make a great ESA for someone who has these illnesses. He isn't good with children around the ages of 4-9, but loves babies and teenagers. He loves other dogs, and currently lives with two smaller pack mates. He is food aggressive, so he would need to be fed separate in a multi dog home. He has no other resource guarding besides that. I'm looking for a home that are active & go swimming or go on hikes, as he is high energy and would match well in a home like that.

Story
Hello - my name is Red. I was found on the side of the road after being either hit by, or thrown out of a car. Despite being a senior dog, I had no broken bones. A nice lady took me in and took me directly to the vet. The vet checked me out and said I was in very good health. He gave me all of my shots and tested me for everything. He ended up giving me antibiotics to take care of the infection of gravel still under my skin. It was keeping my hair from growing so I looked very bald. Since then, I have gotten so much healthier. My fur is almost a hundred percent grown back, and I am soft and very pettable. I currently live with two other rescue dogs. I am able to play with and go on walks with the younger dog, and I am sweet and caring to the older special-needs dog. I am however a little overzealous with cats, so I'm looking for a home that may have other dogs, but no cats. I am at the stage in my life where I enjoy one walk a day and a nice yard to sit in the sun. I am very chill and like to take naps and look out the window. So if you're a good family, looking to give a rejected senior dog another chance at life, then I'm the dog you're looking for. I can't wait to give you sweet little kisses. Love, - Your soon to be forever dog Red… If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Red is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

Story
Whiskey’s DOB is July 22, 2015 - he’s a 4 year old pittie / boxer mix and is the sweetest thing on earth. He lives to sleep you with and snuggle all night long, he is very food motivated and with sit and stay for treats, we also gave him small training treats after using the bathroom outside everyday to get his routine down. Whiskey has never shown aggression towards people or destroyed anything in his foster’s house. He does like to chew on his bones and tough kong toys (no plush toys), and you always need to walk him with a harness!!  We were told he was a street dog for years before he came to the shelter and he has small scars on his face from his street life, but he’s still so sweet. He’s fully grown at 61 pounds and just wants love, pets, and attention. He’s up to date on everything and is very healthy. You’ll love this sweet boy!
