Patsy is 8 years old and the sweetest girl on the planet. She loves to play fetch and thinks she is a lap dog with no regards to her actual size :) I have had Patsy since she was a puppy and I was a single man living in an area with lots of room to run and the extra time to take her on walks and to the dog park, etc. I am now married with a 3 year old son and a baby on the way. My wife and I love Patsy but we are not able to give her the attention she needs. I tried to get my parents to take her and they would, but have 4 animals of their own which makes things hard. I refuse to surrender her to the pound, and would like to make sure she has a caring home to go to.

Story
Roscoe is a wonderful Rottie that enjoys playing with other dogs but also likes to have time to himself. He is very loving and can be protective at times. Most of the interactions with other dogs happen at dog parks or the vet. For whatever reason most dogs are intimidated by his size and tend to become defensive around him. This does not take away from his loving and caring nature. He appreciates short walks and a fair amount of attention. My wife and I have two small children and that has taken away from the amount of attention that we can provide to Roscoe. I begrudgingly decided to move forward with finding him a new home due to the lack of attention we can provide him. He is in the senior stage of life and hasn't received the proper amount of love that I would like to give him. I would like to find him the right owner that will be able to treat him the way I wish I could. This process is difficult for our family so, knowing that he'll be happy will reassure us.

Athena`s foster reports:`She is mostly a couch potato but that is not for lack of energy. Miss Athena gets the zoomies in the morning, loves her babies, and plays well with other dogs. She does well with my 2 larger dogs and has not had any issues with the porch cats we feed. She is not crated at night. She will either sleep in the laundry room or on the couch. She does not chew on things but she will steal shoes and sleep with them. I am assuming because they smell like her people. She loves loving and will nudge you if she wants more.`
