Story
Shihtzu/lhasa apso mix is our best guess.  Adults, must stay together. Spike and Princess were rescued and found in deplorable condition. We are grateful their owner, who had other emergencies ongoing, was open to us taking them for a better life ahead.  They are now all groomed, doing so well and loving their foster home! We will hear more about their personalities soon! They are both now updated on shots, spayed and neutered and will be chipped!  Together they are $550.  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Cha Cha is a sweet little senior spitfire (aro 10+ years) who may not see and hear like she used to, but still loves exploring the great outdoors and then settling in for a good snooze! She’s an independent soul who forges her own path as she goes, and gladly welcomes other calm, easy-going dogs and cats along for the ride. Her partial blindness and hearing loss does cause her to surprise and startle easily, so she will need a patient family who will help her navigate safely (we’re recommending children over the age of 10). She’s been eating special UR wet food which she loves! She doesn’t mind being crated, and even goes there for naps sometimes. Cha-Cha is partially blind, she receives daily eye medications. She does see shapes and can get around fine once she figures out the lay-of the land. She was donated a Halo for added safeness while in the yard. She loves walks and would do well with an active family. She’s just waiting on her dental surgery, which will be completed prior to adoption. All other medical has been taken care of. She has a 2/3 grade L side heart murmur that does not need medications at this time and has been cleared for anesthesia during dental, eye medications, complete lab work up, vaccinations and fully vetted. My name is Domino from Korea and I am a wonderful 2 year old Male Shih Tzu.  I am only 10 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am a very happy, affectionate, and friendly dog who was just saved from the Korean slaughter farms. Korea kills 2.5 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I need a home with a fenced-in yard and will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of exercise, love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1350. will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. A part of this adoption fee will also help us build our brand new 2 acre sanctuary. We are in need of building a new indoor barn for the dogs. The adoption fee is firm and helps cover medical expenses for our other rescue dogs in need of orthopedic surgery, urgent vet care, dental and teeth extractions, cherry eye removals, and more.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.

Meet Adrie, this 12lb Shih Tzu is about 9 years old but is still very active and enjoys being around her people going on walks and rides. Adrie was found as a stray at an auto repair shop in pretty rough condition. Be sure to look through all her photos so that you can see her conditon when we scooped her up. Thankfully with some medical care a good bath and a haircut Adrie is looking and feeling much better! Adrie is a cheerful little dog who doesnt let life get her down. She deserves to find a home that is perfect for her, we think she would like a mellow life with an owner who is ready to give her plenty of attention. If you think you may be the perfect forever family for Adrie please contact us!
