Story
Loki is a 2 year old Shih tzu mix. He's roughly 12lbs and was an owner surrender. Loki came to us very afraid and didn't want to leave his kennel. After a few days of watching the other dogs interact, Loki decided to come out of his kennel and join the world. Since then, Loki has become playful, loves the company of other dogs, is housebroken, kennel trained, walks well on a leash and has learned to play with toys. While Loki has come a long way, he needs to be in a confident home surrounded by calm energy, no kids and another dog to hang out with would be great but isn't required. We think that Loki would be ok with a dog savvy cat that doesn't run. Loki can be nip when fearful and would need a family who's patient and will win his trust. Loki is neutered, UTD on his vaccinations and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
My name is Domino from Korea and I am a wonderful 2 year old Male Shih Tzu.  I am only 10 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am a very happy, affectionate, and friendly dog who was just saved from the Korean slaughter farms. Korea kills 2.5 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I need a home with a fenced-in yard and will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of exercise, love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1350. will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. A part of this adoption fee will also help us build our brand new 2 acre sanctuary. We are in need of building a new indoor barn for the dogs. The adoption fee is firm and helps cover medical expenses for our other rescue dogs in need of orthopedic surgery, urgent vet care, dental and teeth extractions, cherry eye removals, and more.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.

Shihtzu/lhasa apso mix is our best guess.  Adults, must stay together. Spike and Princess were rescued and found in deplorable condition. We are grateful their owner, who had other emergencies ongoing, was open to us taking them for a better life ahead.  They are now all groomed, doing so well and loving their foster home! We will hear more about their personalities soon! They are both now updated on shots, spayed and neutered and will be chipped!  Together they are $550.  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! * For a faster response please apply online prior to requesting a meet and greet. Apply at www.6dogrees.com Meet Lucy! Lucy is a spayed, female 5-year old 18-pound Shih Tzu mix, and her adoption fee is $495. Lucy is a special needs girl and is looking for an adopter that has significant experience with rescue dogs. Lucy needs to be in a one-animal family that is willing to give her the all the time needed to decompress and become comfortable. Lucy is a beautiful girl, but does not trust people nor other animals. She loves stuffed animals and surrounds herself with as many as she can gather – stuffies make her happy and sooth her. Lucy is potty-trained, walks well on a leash, and loves her crate (it is her safe space). We are seeking a loving home that will include her as part of the family, providing unconditional love throughout her lifetime. Lucy is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, they should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Lucy will require: - A grain-free diet. This will help keep him healthy and her coat beautiful. - Grooming. Lucy is a non-shedding dog that will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. - A fully fenced yard. Fences help protect rescue dogs and establish boundaries. If interested please submit an adoption application at www.6dogrees.com if interested. The tax deductible adoption fee is $495.00. Fee's are non-negotiable. The fee is needed in order for us to "save it forward" for the next dog.The fee covers spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, rabies vaccine. If interested please submit a adoption application at www.6dogrees.com we seek the best "fit"home for our dogs. He is fostered north of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Adoption fee include: Neuter, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15-minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the State of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State.
