Hello everyone! My name is Isla and I am a 3-year-old blue heeler/lab mix looking for my new forever home. I am a very sweet and smart young lady and I can’t wait to meet you.
A little bit about me: I am an active gal who loves walks, hikes, runs, and rides in the car. I am a good girl on the leash and will stay by your side. I really love to play fetch and will do pretty much anything to retrieve a ball. I am extremely loyal, and my parents say I’m a little bit of a “velcro” dog, whatever that means. My favorite place to be is right by your side - I may even follow you into the bathroom! I also won’t wander away, even if you have me off my leash. In fact, I stayed right where I was supposed to be when a gate was left open all afternoon! I am very loving and promise I will always be there to happily greet you when you get home and to make you feel better when you are down.
My current owners have had me since I was 8 weeks old. I am spayed, fully potty trained, have gone through obedience training, and am up to date on all of my shots. I have also consistently been on preventative heartworm and flea meds, so I’m a healthy girl!
Although I’m good with other larger dogs, I am not a huge fan of smaller dogs or cats, so it would be best if I went to a home without either of those. I also might do better in a home without very young children (even though I love the ones I have lived with these last few years).
