Story
Henry cane to us as a young pup and was diagnosed with Megaesophagus. You can see by looking at him that it does not slow him down. The absolute only thing different between him and any other dog is that he has to eat on two feet. Everything else is normal. Eating on 4 feet is not an option for him. However, he can drink and have treats on 4. He is crate, house trained, and doggie door trained. He gets along well with all size of dogs as he has several foster siblings. He is very loving and affectionate and believe it or not is sensitive. When researching this condition, ask questions as not all cases are the same. His foster has had two different ME dogs and both are very different. He needs that special person who will look after him and make sure he stays and healthy and happy as he is now. He would love to have a playmate too.

Story
Gordy is a fluffy cookie monster, trapped in the body of a Border Collie. He doesn't know how to herd livestock or chase balls. He'd rather sit pretty for treats than run after sheep. Gordy is as handsome as they come! His right ear always stands at attention, while his left cocks to the side and a smile is stretched across his face. He loves to play tag in the yard with other dogs and tries to beat the neighboring dog to the end of the fence line. Gordy may be a little slow when feeling at ease in new situations or with new people, but once he knows you're a good person, he'll think you're the bee's knees and want to be friends! Would you like to wake up to Gordy's smile every morning? Then contact OHAR to learn more about how to meet him! History: Gordy was turned into the Mesquite Animal shelter when found as a stray. Gordy is a happy, playful guy who is eager to please. He is crate trained graduated from obedience training where he was a star pupil. Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Story
I adopted Skeeter in Lubbock, TX over 12 years ago. He has been a fantastic dog, though is a bit jealous of my 1 and 4 year old daughters. Adding a second child to our home has not been good for him. He will be better off with a family that can give him more time, walks, and love. He loves walks and can run for miles. He is trained to walk on a leash. He does not get on furniture and loves going to the dog park. He can sit, shake, roll over, and play dead. The pictures I have attached are his "summer do" as his hair is long and it is hot in Dallas!

This doesn’t include biting but tons of jumping. She needs tons of exercise and a dedicated owner to train her properly.

I adopted Lalo about two weeks ago. I don't want to take him back to the shelter. He's a great dog he's just not for me. He needs a yard to run around. He stay inside all day. He's really shy when it comes to knew things but loves people. When I adopted him, I was informed that he has heartworms. So anyone who adopts him must keep up with medication or treatment.
