Story
Hi! My name is Percy. I am a really sweet and handsome boy and I am looking for my furever home! I came to DBTR about a month ago. My mom was a Egyptian Mau and my father was part bengal/egyptian mau. My foster family adores me but I need a home that is low allergen as I have some allergy issues. I LOVE to cuddle. I am very talkative and opinionated. And I love dogs, other cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home! I am litter box trained but need the crystal litter because the dust in the clay litter makes me sneeze. I am neutered, microchipped, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $200, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport if my new family lives in the northeast USA. Please visit http://www.daybeforetherainbow.com/adoption-info.html to fill out an adoption application form, or email the feline coordinator at annakategoad@gmail.com! Thanks for checking me out! *I am currently being fostered in South Carolina as DBTR is based out of SC. But they have an awesome transport service and I can catch a ride up to many North East states to meet my new family.

Story
This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. This cat has tested positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Many cats with FIV can live a long and happy lifespan if kept indoors and given routine veterinary care. FIV is not contagious to people or animals other than cats. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
ABOUT PIXIE Meet Pixie, our sweet three-year-old calico lady! This beauty was brought to HAP from a high-intake shelter. When she arrived, she was very pregnant, so we sent her straight to one of our rockstar fosters. They made sure she had a safe and cozy place to give birth. She's been an amazing mother, but now it's time for her to find a forever home where she can live it up! Pixie is a super sweet girl, her favorite thing in the world is to get some snuggles! She enjoys curling up in a sunny spot to get a quick snooze in, almost as much as she enjoys a treat! She isn't the biggest player, she's definitely more of a lover girl, but she's been known to bat a toy mouse around. **Pixie is not a fan of other cats. But we also think she'd do well with a calm dog and children. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals.
