Story
Beautiful tortie Tessa was born about January of 2017. She's had a rough go of it, but you'd never know that from her sweet demeanor. Tessa was cruelly abandoned by her human dad when he moved out of state without her. Unimaginable. Some kindly neighbors found her and discovered what a friendly and loving girl she is. Tessa is now in foster with other cats. She just loves to eat, be petted, and spend time with her people. She is healthy, spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all her vet care and vaccines. All she needs now is a family to love, this time forever, please (experienced cat owner preferred). Tessa deserves nothing less. If you can give this loving kitty a home and a family to call her own, don't delay. Tessa is waiting and she won't disappoint you!

Story
This handsome, regal kitty was born about September of 2016, rescued from the mean streets and tested positive for FIV. Cats can live a long and healthy life with FIV, and they can also live well with negative cats, so long as they don't fight. Harry is mostly a lover, not a fighter, despite his rough beginnings. He is actually not too fond of some male cats or small dogs, but he gets along well with females, some males, and larger dogs. There are many other animals in his foster home and the chihuahuas, frankly, find him a royal pain. (Maybe he just needs his Meghan!) He really enjoys people, petting, wand toys, and catnip mousies, though like many cats, he is not totally thrilled to be picked up. He is neutered and up to date on all vet care and shots. Harry can be a true Prince Charming--he just needs that peaceful home where he can relax and be the stellar pet he is capable of being. Can you provide him with that home and help make his next chapter a royal one? To fill out an adoption application for Prince Harry, visit animalfriendsoflansdowne.org/adoption-application

Story
One Very Grateful Kitty She's winking at us, now that all is safe, warm, and well in her world! This sweet little tabby girl had a rough time of it. She was found skinny, sick, and missing an eye in the yard of a kindly Lansdowne cat lover with so many in his home already. Enter a great foster mom and Animal Friends of Lansdowne, who took little Grizabella in and got her the medical attention she needed so badly. It's hard to be certain of her exact age, given the rough condition she was in when rescued. As of today, she's been spayed, given her shots, received treatment for an infection, and had her missing eye repaired. She's still petite but is eating well and has gained weight. Grizzy is happy in the company of other cats but she is fearful with dogs. She is oh-so-grateful to be safe and indoors at last! All she needs now is a forever home to call her own. Could you make that possible for this special girl?

Story
Snuggles was born outside in or about May 2018. This beautiful girl tortie spent the first 5 months of her life on the streets with her mom and brothers and sisters. A call from kindly neighbors led quickly to the rescue of her, her mama, and her 6 siblings. Snuggles currently shares a home with 4 foster brothers, along with her speckled tortie sister, Sweet Pea. Snuggles has been a little slower than her sister to learn to trust and socialize, but she's making progress every day! It would be miraculous if they could be adopted together by someone who can continue to be patient with Snuggles and let her learn from her sister. Both girls are current on shots and vet care, spayed, and microchipped. Bags are packed and ready for a forever home!

Story
Born outside in April of 2018, "The Reindeer" were cruelly orphaned and left to fend for themselves until a kindly resident started feeding them on his porch. Rescued and brought into foster in December, they were patiently nurtured and lovingly brought along to become the happy housecats they are today. Dasher (black and white "cow" cat) and Vixen (grey and white tabby) have made enormous progress, from shy, indoor ferals to actual lap cats! They are healthy, loving, playful kitties who enjoy the company of other cats. While still not convinced that being picked up is a great idea (like so many cats), these two follow their foster mama everywhere, sitting and sleeping with her whenever possible. A bit of patience to allow them to adjust to a new home, a warm lap, and yummy food are all that is needed to adopt this delightful duo. They are a bonded pair and will need to stay together. Do you have room in your home and your heart for our very special reindeer? Please get in touch asap. They'd really love to spend this Christmas with you in their forever home.

Story
If you like to cuddle and have a lap to share, then Sweet Pea is the kitten for you. Born outside in or about May 2018, this gorgeous tortie spent the first 5 months of her life on the streets just waiting for someone to notice what a great companion she would make. A call from kindly neighbors led quickly to the rescue of her, her mama, and her 6 siblings. Sweet Pea rapidly adapted to the good life indoors. Her striking good looks make her stand out from the crowd. Her sweet nature allows her to make friends easily with other cats and people. She currently shares a home with 4 foster brothers, along with her speckled tortie sister, Snuggles. Snuggles has been slower to learn to trust and socialize, but she's making progress. It would be miraculous if they could be adopted together by someone who can continue to be patient with Snuggles and let her learn from her sister. Sweet Pea's favorite activities include eating anything you give her (or leave within her reach) belly rubs, purring, playing, and cuddling/sleeping on a warm lap. Both girls are current on shots and vet care, spayed, and microchipped. Bags are packed and ready for a forever home!
