Story
Clyde is a VERY sweet boy that has a lot of love to give. If you are near him, he is right there with you-you could not find a more loyal friend! He spends most of his day lounging and likes dark spaces, but he isn't afraid to adventure out and explore, either. He is indoors but will come out with you as you bring groceries out of your car, etc.-he won't run off and will follow you right in. His owner died, which is why I took him in. Unfortunately, he is terrified of my animals and doesn't have a great quality of life here. He needs to be in an "only" pet household where he doesn't have to worry about what other animals are around. A new homeowner would want to have a pet who likes to cuddle and be cuddled!

Story
Sugar is a rock star, truly! She is everything you would want in a cat except the fact that we think that she thinks that she is a dog! That is right! This cuddle bug loves to play, loves attention but when it comes to all other things that go "Meow" she is above it;)She believes that she is a Cane- Corso trapped in a little Calico's body. She will purrfer to be your one and only!!! So please if you are interested to meet the very "sure of her self" rock star, Sugar she will welcome you with open paws:) Sugar would love to be your one and only because she demands all of the attention!

Story
"Hello! My name is Fawn and I am a super confident girl looking for my furever and ever home! I was found outside all by myself and brought to the Cape May Animal Shelter so that I would be kept safe. However, no one came looking for me so I was placed up for adoption. I'm currently hanging out in our Community Cat Room, where I am definitely in charge! I don't mind being pet (especially under the chin scratches), but I only like to be picked up on my terms. I'll usually circle around you if I'm feeling especially cuddly! I really like to help make any new cats in the Community Room feel at home and usually end up snuggling with them for their first few nights until they start to adjust. I'm definitely a Momma at heart, even though I'm still a baby myself. I've been here since I was little and even though I have made lots of furriends, I do get sad watching everyone else go home and wonder when it will be my turn. Please consider stopping by and meeting with me soon! I'll be waiting!"

Story
"Mew, Mew! My name is Friskie and I would love to come home with you! I am a one of a kind, uniquely marked Torbie who was originally adopted from the Cape May Animal Shelter many years ago. I was recently found wandering around Atlantic County by myself and was brought back to Cape May before being transferred to the Animal Adoption Center. I would be okay with another cat, as long as they are on the lower energy side and know that I like to have my own space. I love head pets and even the occasional belly pet, but I will let you know if you are petting me incorrectly or if I have had enough. I love to talk about many different topics, but my favorite has to be about food. I always know when it's time for dinner! I love people, but would do best with children over the age of 8. Did I mention that I also walk on a leash? Yes, I am just that fancy!"

Story
Snowflake and her sister Snowbelle were found as strays in south jersey. They are very bonded sisters that would love to be adopted together! They are currently living in our community room where they will have plenty of kitty friends and can interact with their humans in a larger environment. They would love someone to spend a lot of time with them and treats are the way to their hearts! Thankfully they were rescued before the cold of winter, but these snow twins deserve to spend their lives warm in a home! Snowflake and Snowbelle are looking for a quiet home, preferably without kids, or with kids that are older. They will need an experienced adopter who will be willing to put the time and effort into these two darlings, but the rewards of their love will outweigh the work it will take to earn their trust.

Story
We took Ty in 9 years ago as a kitten living outside. He's been a part of our family through a lot, but I just don't have the time to give him the attention he deserves anymore with my business. Ty is a very loving animal that loves attention but gives you your space as well. He loves to cuddle.
