Soot is a long haired main coon mix. She has a thyroid condition, so she is overweight. She can not groom herself but since she is a long hair she requires a lot of grooming. We also believe she is autistic, she has very strange mannerisms and is over all not very cat like. She usually hides and sometimes meals have to be brought to her. However she is very sweet and loves belly rubs. She requires a lot of vet care and Medicines. She is harmless but other cats are usually mean to her. We are looking for a loving, patient home that can provide her with the medical attention she needs.

Story

Callie was my mom’s cat. My mom was retired and Callie spent almost all the day on her lap. When my mom passed away, it took months for her to let me near her. She now trusts me, but we have another cat and they don’t get along. We don’t have a big enough house to keep them separated, and she gets moody when we’re away for too long. I try to give attention, but my wife and I both work full time and Callie can be needy. I’m hoping we can find someone who is home most of the time to take care of her. We’ve tried to give her a nice home but we can’t give her the attention she needs. She doesn’t get along with our cat, but he’s old and cranky and doesn’t get along with anyone. Honestly, we wouldn’t put her up for rehoming if we didn’t already have a cat. When mom was alive, Callie was a one person cat. She hated me, my mom’s pastor, anyone who wasn’t mom. Since we’ve had her she’s slowly adapted, now she’ll come downstairs during a party to sniff strangers out.

She is a sweet senior cat that is definitely better alone and not with other pets. Great with kids and adults! She is a cuddler...and loves snuggles. She is potty trained and never has had any accidents in the house. She loves a good scratching post as she is a big kneeder and loves to scratch. She is really cute and tiny and will make the best cuddle buddy. Looking for someone who will give her a furever home :) Honestly only rehoming her because she had the run of the basement because she disilkes my dogs but it's too cold for her in the winter down there.

Max is about 8 years old. Max loves to sit in your lap and be snuggled. He loves neck scratches and will often seek out attention from familiar people. He can be shy with strangers. Max and Jax were adopted together as kittens. They like to play together and chase each other around the home. We would really like them to stay together in their new home. We are sad to have to put them up for adoption but our son has severe allergies and asthma.

I rescued Cotton from Pawsabilities a fee years back. She is around 7 years old. This is the sweetest and most affectionate cat i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. All she wants to do is be on top of you and carried around the house. Because of her clingy personality she does not get along with other cats and why i am rehoming her. She is a wonderful cat and it breaks my heart to see her go.
