Story

This handsome man came to us as a stray and is truly a success story. As a neighborhood cat he was always a bit wary of humans, and when he came to us he would hiss, scratch and even charge the door when volunteers came around. Through socialization he has made the best turnaround we could have asked for. He lets our volunteers and junior volunteers pet and feed him, he LOVES kittens and other cats, but you have to earn his trust. He is a little shy when you come to meet him, but he will warm up to you. Best in a home with other cats that can help build his confidence. He has just passed his year mark here at the rescue, and we want to find him the best home we can! He also has the best whiskers, like, ever. The bigger the poof, the bigger the personality! Eleanore has been here since March of 2018 and is ready to find her person. She likes to swat a lot, but that doesn’t mean she’s mean! Ellie, who is affectionately nicknamed the Night Fury because of her bright green eyes and jet black fur, is a cookie monster, loves being brushed, and likes to be near her humans, just not directly on them. She was trained to do all sorts of tricks like sit, come, turn left and right, and run an agility course! She wouldn’t be good with young kids, but is still very playful and goes NUTS for her laser pointer and cuddles with her toys. She wouldn’t be good with other pets, as she is a little diva, and wants all the attention to herself. Help us find Ellie the best home for her!
