Story
We adopted Rooney from a rescue group when he was about 3 months old. We have 5 other cats and up until a year ago all was well. Something changed between Rooney and his brother George they have not gotten along. George stalks Rooney, and threatens him. Rooney is very loving and really good with all the other cats in the household but because of George, Rooney is having inappropriate behaviors This just started recently and our vet says it is totally emotional, and stress related. It would be better for Rooney to be in a home with out George. Rooney love to be with his people, and sleep on your feet at night. We are heartbroken to rehome this sweet boy but know he will be happier. Rooney has been an indoor only kitty his whole life. For his health and safety we would ask that he be kept indoors.

Story
Hello, My cats name is Chloe and she is 3.5 years old. I’ve had her about 2.5 years. Before moving in she was in foster care for a couple months but spent the first 8 or so months of her life feral. She needs a home with no kids, no dogs and ideally only 1-2 adults. I hate sounding so picky but she is very skittish and hides when anyone other than me is home. I’m so lucky to have been able to bond with her but unfortunately my S.O. Has not been able to. She needs someone stable and patient because adjusting to new things isn’t her strong suit. She has the potential to be the most wonderful loving cat, but I think her trust is very limited to one person only. I love her very much but with how much I travel for work it just isn’t fair to keep her. I can answer any and all questions you might have via text or email. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in knowing more about her.

Story
Sunny has been a part of my family since 2005. I got her as a kitten from Petco in California and has been with me ever since. She is a sweet, lovable cat. She loves people and getting pet. She is always looking for a lap to sit on for love. Unfortunately, our family has grown and we have a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 4 month old twins. We have not been able to give her the care or attention that she needs. Over the past 3 years she has had some digestive issues so she is currently on a steroid to help her eat food and maintain her weight. She takes a half a pill, every other day. We have also had to take her in every year to get her anal glands expressed. (They get impacted and need to be expressed at the vet). She honestly is a wonderful cat, just getting older and has a few health issues. With our family growing with kids we just can’t give her what she needs, which is attention. We hope you’d consider taking her into your home. She is a sweet cat.

Story
Hello! My name is Eos (like ee-yoh-s) and I am about 6 years old. My current Mama found me in an abusive home and quickly relocated me to live with her, when I was about 6 months old. I love to be loved, but please do not touch my tummy or pick me up, it really frightens me! I am very cuddly and quirky, but only on my own terms. I also have a crooked tail, but it does not hurt me! I am playful and like spaces to hide, and I really like soft beds. I have a brother right now, and we don’t get along. He always beats me up and I dont know how to defend myself, and although my Mama tries her best to keep us separated, it isn’t helping. I have inflammation issues, that the doctors can’t quite figure out, and it makes my mouth really sore and inflamed a lot of the time. ): it’s not very fun and I have to be on steroids to keep it comfy. My Mama needs to find me a new home. Will you take me in? I should be the only pet, and I should not be around kids.

Story
Charlie is a wonderful cat who needs a quiet environment and lots of play. I adopted Charlie from the oregon humane society when he was 12 weeks old he is now 3 years old. Charlie is affectionate and loving. He has a tendency to get overstimulated in my tiny apartment which located on a busy road. And I believe has caused him to act out. In the right environment, kid free and quiet with good amount of attention he will do really well. I am currently pregnant and wont be able to keep charlie when the baby comes. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you consider charlie for your home if you think he would be a good fit.

Story
My family and I feed feral cats. We also take them to an organization that captures them and fixes them. And then releases them back out. Cesar came from a litter of one of the many feral cat litters. We used to take the kittens when they were old enough. Feed them and care for them and find them a home. Except for Cesar, we decided to keep him. Mind you we already had 3 other cats. He is almost 3 years old. We are downsizing our home and have to rent. Sadly we cannot take him with us. We never thought we would have to try and rehome an animal but sadly we don’t have any other option.
