Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Our website has information about each d o g, our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.   Coo&#226&#128&#139kie is a tiny, 5 pounds of maybe Yorkie and Chihuahua looking little girl.   As adorable and usually sweet as she is, she does have some quirks and they all stem from being tiny and being with people who couldn't or wouldn't learn how to train and handle a tiny dog.  This had made a sort of Jekyl & Hyde girl out of her sparking nicknames like Cookie Monster and Five Pounds of Fury.  She has learned how to control and manipulate people by growling or snapping if she isn't comfortable with what you need to do to or with her; like nail trims or cleaning her face.  She likes to take a piece of food or treat and sit near other dogs daring them to try to take it from her.  So whomever adopts her has got to be able to deal with her quirks and continue to train them out of her.  She also needs good, proper nutrition as can't tolerate grains in her diet or she will chew herself up with itching so this includes about anything that can be bought at a grocery store.  If you think that's you, please do submit our adoption application for Cookie.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
I think that living with another dog might help her, I'm not sure on with kids , shes a beautiful dog that just loves to go for walks and loves to be loved when she wants it. I need to say that she needs her teeth cleaned and that's when shes tried to bite me. She likes to protect the items that I gave her, she is a loving dog just needs the attention of a professional person who can help her stop wanting to bite.

Story
Say hello to Ziggy. And yes, he is swoony and absolutely adorable. This little sweetie is just six months old and weighs in at a mighty seven pounds. His favorite things (in no particular order) are playing, exploring, cuddling and treats. Ziggy get along great with other dogs in his general size range and could live with cats, though may need some guidance on good puppy manners. He is LIVELY and needs an active home with a fenced yard where someone is home more than not or that has an option to take a dog to work. No small kids please -- this guy needs to be the center of attention.DOGS:The first step of our adoption process for dogs is to fill out our "" interested party application"" form online at this link https://us02.sheltermanager.com/service?account=ac0662&method=online_form_html&formid=12CATS:For more information on our cats please send an email to cats@vipp.orgPlease note we are an all-volunteer organization and it may take us several days to respond. *** In response to COVID-19 and the Stay Home order, the VIPP Dog Program  has temporarily paused dog adoptions. During this time our volunteers will be reviewing dog applications and reaching out to prospective adopters so that we can hit the ground running once it is safe to restart adoption meet and greets. We are an all volunteer organization and strive to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours but response times may be delayed during this difficult time. We looki forward to connecting with you soon -- and please, stay safe. ***

Story
Meet "Pearl" She is a 9 pound adorable 9 yr old, healthy adult spayed, female Blonde/White short hair Chihuahua mix. Pearl has the kindest quiet disposition and button eyes that will melt your heart. Pearl was rescued from a very over crowded shelter in CA. We do not know her history, or why she was surrendered, we can only guess she was someone elderly's beloved baby. She has the calmest, sweetest disposition and is 100% sweet easy going and little shy at first. She is very adorable once comfortable she enjoys car rides and walks Pearl is potty - pee pad trained and goes outside to do her business. Pearl is a cuddling and snuggling kind of girl and very easy going, She does fine with other dogs her size and bigger but would be just fine solo and pampered. Due to her soft demeanor, we are seeking a all adult, stable, calm type of home with possibly another small friendly dog or solo would suit her fine. Pearl is the perfect house - condo, or apartment style, lap dog, movie buddy and sleeping friend. Pearl is a indoor only girl and lives inside, she would be great with a small dog, that is somewhat mellow. Pearl seeks a calm easy going life that is routine, experienced with the breed mix and willing to provide for her the rest of her life. She is going to make someone very happy! Pearl does well with cats. Take me to work, or on daily outings. I would love to be your forever friend. I will be a hit with those you meet or know because I am so cute! If away from the home longer than 4 hours a dog walker or "potty breaker" are required. Adoption fee: 450.00 Includes, spay, flea treatment, Dental plus extractions, Pet Insurance, 15 min. training consult, microchip, current vaccines, eye surgery, and dental. Pesrl is fostered in North Seattle and ready for her forever home! If interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review. 6dogrees Rescue is a all volunteer 501c3 non profit, Seattle based Rescue. We aim at helping the voiceless dogs in over crowded shelters have a second chance and Washington homeless pets find homes.. To learn more about 6dogrees rescue visit www.6dogrees.com

Story
Cody is a very sweet and loving chihuahua mix. He will love you as soon as he considers you a part of his pack which might take a little time. He is very playful, loves to play fetch inside with a ball or a stuffed toy, and loves chewing on bullies. He loves cuddling under a blanket by himself or with you if you let him. He is a bit leash aggressive towards other dogs but otherwise walks just fine. He's very food motivated, smart and quick to learn.
