Story
Stanley (aka Stan the Man), is a very friendly and confident little guy who charms people and other dogs with his positive attitude and big personality. He enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes, and when it’s time to rest, throws himself into your lap for a snuggle. Stanley was a stray dog hanging around a construction site where he would come out to greet visitors and show them around. When his rescuers took him in, he made himself right at home and soon took charge of their pack of larger dogs. He plays well with other dogs, has met cats, and generally thinks the world is his oyster. He loves to go out on walks to meet and greet the neighbors and explore. At night when it’s time for a nap, he takes himself off to his dog bed where he sleeps quietly. Stanley is a very adaptable boy who would fit well into just about any home as long as he gets regular walks and exercise. He loves to play, so would do well in a multi-dog home, but is perfectly happy in the company of his humans too. NOTE: In many cases, these dogs are located in La Paz, BCS, Mexico in foster homes. We transport them to their adopted homes via air transport with a volunteer.

Story
Meet "Pearl" She is a 9 pound adorable 9 yr old, healthy adult spayed, female Blonde/White short hair Chihuahua mix. Pearl has the kindest quiet disposition and button eyes that will melt your heart. Pearl was rescued from a very over crowded shelter in CA. We do not know her history, or why she was surrendered, we can only guess she was someone elderly's beloved baby. She has the calmest, sweetest disposition and is 100% sweet easy going and little shy at first. She is very adorable once comfortable she enjoys car rides and walks Pearl is potty - pee pad trained and goes outside to do her business. Pearl is a cuddling and snuggling kind of girl and very easy going, She does fine with other dogs her size and bigger but would be just fine solo and pampered. Due to her soft demeanor, we are seeking a all adult, stable, calm type of home with possibly another small friendly dog or solo would suit her fine. Pearl is the perfect house - condo, or apartment style, lap dog, movie buddy and sleeping friend. Pearl is a indoor only girl and lives inside, she would be great with a small dog, that is somewhat mellow. Pearl seeks a calm easy going life that is routine, experienced with the breed mix and willing to provide for her the rest of her life. She is going to make someone very happy! Pearl does well with cats. Take me to work, or on daily outings. I would love to be your forever friend. I will be a hit with those you meet or know because I am so cute! If away from the home longer than 4 hours a dog walker or "potty breaker" are required. Adoption fee: 450.00 Includes, spay, flea treatment, Dental plus extractions, Pet Insurance, 15 min. training consult, microchip, current vaccines, eye surgery, and dental. Pesrl is fostered in North Seattle and ready for her forever home! If interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review. 6dogrees Rescue is a all volunteer 501c3 non profit, Seattle based Rescue. Story
Hi, my name is Azzy! I am a special boy so I am going to need an extra special family that can give me all the love in the world. I have diabetes and now that I am in the rescue I am on a special diet and receive insulin and I feel GREAT! I love to greet my family at the door with a happy smile and wagging tail. I love to sunbathe outside on a doggie bed and cuddle inside or hang out near my canine foster siblings or my foster family. I am a happy boy and am so excited that one day I will have a family to call my own. My foster mom tells me that my new family will need to be able to take care of my diabetes and that my special food and insulin is estimated to cost about $100/month but I promise to shower you with love everyday to make it all worth it! Fill out an application to meet me- I can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Cody is a very sweet and loving chihuahua mix. He will love you as soon as he considers you a part of his pack which might take a little time. He is very playful, loves to play fetch inside with a ball or a stuffed toy, and loves chewing on bullies. He loves cuddling under a blanket by himself or with you if you let him. He is a bit leash aggressive towards other dogs but otherwise walks just fine. He's very food motivated, smart and quick to learn.

Story
Animal Profile: Kimmie is adorable ~1-2 year old chihuahua mix who was just rescued from a high kill shelter in CA. She has the cutest perked ears! Kimmie was rescued along with her kennel companion, and would likely do best with another dog buddy in the home. Seattle Foster Update:  Kimmie is a sweetheart. She does best with other dogs who are more laid back--but today she did lots of running and playing with my resident dog! Up until now she was content with just going for walks! She has yet to meet kids. We are working on leash training and she loves to explore outside. Kimmie is making good progress on house training and crate training. She is beginning to go to the door and paw when she needs out. She knows SIT and we are working on PLACE and CRATE. She's very food and attention motivated so the training has been going well. She does sometimes bark in her crate, and we are working on that, but for this reason she wouldn't do well in an apartment or condo.   She is a big snuggler and likes to give kisses. She takes treats well and for the most part ignores my cats. She will do best in a calm, quiet forever home with another dog. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $475, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in California and will be available for adoption in Seattle, once evaluated in a loving foster home in the greater Seattle area.
