Story
We got Arlo when he was a puppy (6 weeks). He is now 6 years old. He’s always been very good around all kinds of people. He’s very hyper and quite large. So I wouldn’t recommend he be around small children. He has a tendency to jump up on people. He’s a very loving dog around people and gets along good with other dogs but he doesn’t get along with cats and farm animals. That’s why we have to re home him. We recently moved and our neighbors have a farm with a lot of different animals and he won’t leave them alone so we’ve had to lock him in a pen. It breaks my heart at the thought of him being locked up for the rest of his life. I just want to find him a good home where he can live out the rest of his years comfortably.

Story
Meet Tom! Tom came to us when he was about 6 months old. He was a feral dog (non-aggressive) that we had to trap to save him from a terrible plight. His rehab took months and was done by several of our volunteers. He has since learned how to be a normal dog but still has his own character Tom can be wary of strangers to the point of not letting them near him in his home. Once he has time to learn that they are not going to hurt him (at his pace), he is a loving boy. Tom plays well with dogs but can be clumsy and rough at times since he really doesn't know his own size. He is good with older kids, could knock down big kids (he is not hyper, just big and clumsy), and is good with dogs of all sizes. He is good with cats. Tom does well in the house alone. Tom, we believe, suffers from a mild mental retardation in that he has trouble processing certain situations and will need a patient, loving family. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Meet Mocha! Mocha is all wiggle butt when you love on her and she LOVES to snuggle! She is house trained and crate trained. She loves to play with other dogs or just spend some time gnawing on a bone, Mocha is pretty good on leash and is a little stubborn on "come" but she is eager to learn if treats are involved. Mocha can be timid around strange men so she needs to meet them on her terms (and preferably with treats :-) ). She is not good with cats. Mocha is about 1 year old and is up to date on vaccinations and spayed.
