Story
Meet Lola! She is a 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier weighing in at 60 pounds! She is a beautiful happy girl who loves resting on the couch, playing outdoors, swimming and being with her person. She is house-trained, can sit and paw, walks great on a leash, sleeps through the night and loves to train. She is a little shy at first but warms up to adults when introduced slowly and calmly - especially with treats as she is very food motivated! Lola needs to be an "only" - no other animals or small children under 14 in the home. Can you give this girl the life and love she deserves? Lola's adoption fee is adopters choice. All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over seven months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records.Due to the construction of our state of the art facility, none of our pets are on site, they are all located in foster homes at this time.If you would like to meet this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey (This is your adoption application) : https://petcentralhelps.org/dog-puppy-applicationAfter we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within 72 hours or less (We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Story
Well hello there! I’m Britta and I’m 10.5 years old.  I am ½ of an amazing pair of Brittanys and we are looking for our forever home…. TOGETHER.  My sister Becca and I used to live outside all the time but since we’ve lived in foster care we’ve learned to love to be inside and hang with our people.  We like all people...me especially and I will stick by your side, follow you around the house, sit beside you on the couch and snuggle with you in bed. I like to be taken for walks, but I get excited and pull on the leash.  Walks are exciting…what can I say?  I also like toys…stuffies are the best.  I like to unstuff them.  I have a high prey drive so I shouldn’t live with a cat. My sister Becca and I would love a home where it’s just us and our humans.  More love for us.   We are very active for our age and love to run outside.  Don't be fooled by the white in our face...we are young at heart! I used to have nasty heart worms in me, but NBRAN got me all fixed up and they are gone.  I am spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations and overall very healthy.  So if you are looking for aperfect pair of Brittanys to join your family….we are your girls.  We will only go to our new home together…. together forever!  Our adoption fee, as we are seniors, is $200 US each but if you are a senior too it’s $100 US each.  We are located near London, Ontario, Canada but NBRAN can transport us up to 2200 kms or 1400 miles.  If you are interested, please submit an application and our people will get in touch with you.  http://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application For more information about Britta (and Becca) please contact sandratoal18@gmail.com We will NOT consider splitting up this pair. They have been together their entire lives.

Story
Hi! I'm Blackstar! I'm an American Pit Bull Terrier and my birthday is 12/1/19. At 4-months I weigh about 16-pounds - but I'm sure to grow! I was relinquished with my sister Bandit, to a shelter. We were both neglected, but everyone keeps saying how sweet we are. My foster says this about me: "Blackstar is very shy around people at first but once she gets to know you all she wants to do it play and be around you. She is great with other dogs and loves to be around her brother. She loves all kinds of toys but tennis balls and rope toys are her favorites. She also loves to nap and loves anything with peanut butter. She is still in the process of being potty trained but is doing really great and hasn't had many accidents in the house. When she is napping or sleeping she loves to be in a warm place surrounded by blankets." Are you the family of her dreams? Her adoption fee is $325.All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Story
Hi there!  It's me...Becca!  I am ½ of an amazing pair of Brittanys and we are looking for our forever home…. TOGETHER.  My sister Britta and I used to live outside all the time but now we know what it’s like to sleep inside and we like it! I like to sleep in the room with my people but prefer a dog bed on the floor beside you.  I like people, but I like my own space too.  (you can cuddle with my sister though!)  I like to be outside and watch the birds and the critters.  We have a doggie door and a huge fenced yard so I can come and go so a fenced yard for me is a must.  I love to eat.  I was very sick when I had heart worms and was skinny…but I’m better now and I’m making up for lost time.  I love to take your socks and to steal things off the counter when foster mom isn’t looking.  I also pull on a leash when I walk.  Hey…no one is perfect right?  Like my sister Britta I'm pretty zippy for my age so I like walks and running outside to burn some steam. I like my foster family, but I can be nervous around new people that come to the house.  I just bark at them a bit…that’s all.  Foster mom says I'm "discriminating".  I am spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations and overall very healthy.  So if you are looking for a great couple of Brittanys to join your family….we are your girls.  We will only go to our new home together…. together forever!  Our adoption fee, as we are seniors, is $200 US each or if you are a senior too it’s $100 US each.  We are located near London, Ontario, Canada but NBRAN can transport us up to 2200 kms or 1400 miles.  If you are interested, please submit an application and our people will get in touch with you.  http://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application For more information about Becca (and Britta) please contact sandratoal18@gmail.com We will NOT consider splitting up this pair. Story
Hi my name is Bandy ! I am a Basset/Doberman mix who got the short end of the stick per say. I take after the Basset side, so I am a low rider, where my brother looked more Doberman. I am a lean 50#s, black and tan in color.  I am very loving, playful and active but then again I am only a little over a year old so I am still a puppy. Don't let my size fool you, I can keep up with the best of them (3 foster sisters 2 Labs 1 Pocket Pittie) I actually wear them out so they take shifts sometimes to entertain me. But when it is bedtime or nap time I am right there with them.  I really want a home with at least 1 sister if not 2. Don't get me wrong I liked my previous foster brother but there was a foster sister there there also. I just like the ladies LOL    I need to be kept busy, I don't like sitting around, I wanna play!! Toys are great but a warning- I can get a squeaker out within minutes, without hardly tearing up the toy. Once out, the toy is fair game. I like to chew so the Nylabone Power Chews are best at withstanding my toughness.   I have a soft side too. I love to curl up next to you or my siblings and sleep and I sleep hard and even snore a little bit. I love to look out the window at the world going by and I will tell you when someone is coming. And I will give kisses when asked. I know the basic commands and working on some others.   I am house and crate trained but I do not like being put in the crate and left alone. Trust me !   I have free run of the house but the basement, I got a taste of it the other day and now I wanna go back. I sit and whine to go again and I see the kitties (2) go down, so their must be something good I am missing. Oh yeah I get along with kitties, sometimes they do need to remember I am here so I make my presence known and a way they go downstairs.  I don't hurt them, I just wanna play.   I hope I have answered some of your questions here. Please if you have any more ASK !! I just wanna find my furever home so if interested please do the survey and come meet me. I only ask you make a donation to Pet Central Helps! when adopting me. They have done so much for me and everyone else they have saved. Hope to see you soonBandy Boy  All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Story
Ebony is a rescue I've had done the last year and half. Shea a super sweet dog. Allways happy to see you but calm overall. She does have issues being alone witch is where my problem comes in. She dosent like crates and I haven't been able to find one that can contain her and fear even if I did she would hit herself trying to escape. She has torn up carpet and broken doors. But only displays these behaviors when she is home alone. With a human presence around she is absolutely wonderfull. Much like myself she's not a fan cat's. Unlike myself she does show some aggression towards them. She is good with dogs but can be weary or scared of Male dog's. She has got in 1 fight with another dog at the kennel club. But I don't really know what happend in the situation. Ebony means a lot to me so j want to make sure she can go to a good home with people who can be around to keep her at ease.
