Story
We adopted Miss Nala from the shelter about 6-8 months prior to this post. She is about 6 years old and is a very sweet, loving dog! She definitely loves to be the center of attention and will bark at you until you throw the ball!! She loves balls and chewy toys, though she will ruin them within seconds of getting it! She does have a slight skin allergy that has been treated with oatmeal baths, it’s worsened in the winter however. She is quite territorial, which can be slightly intimidating, but nothing to be too concerned with, as far as aggression. She has shown no signs of aggression towards children, cats or dogs. She would do best in a fenced yard, she is a runner (unfortunately) and she does NOT like to be chained up, or locked up for that matter (in a cage/other room) She really deserves a home where she can somewhat be the center of attention and be loved on constantly because she truly is a lovey dovey kinda girl!!

Story
This dog has a lot of meaning to our family. We found her on a farm not being taken care of when she was just 6 weeks old. We were on our way home from Disney in Florida, so of course we named her after a Disney character, Belle. She is a sweet girl. She potty trained herself. She needs a home/individual or couple with more time than we can give her. Someone with a lot of patience and will put time into her. I truly think she will thrive with the right training and is high energy, so somewhere where she isn’t going to just be tied up or have no room to run; she needs an outlet to release her energy. Preferably not with children. She’s never been aggressive but you can tell she is uncomfortable with kids coming by her and touching her. She loves going on walks. And gets along with other dogs. Chases our cats... this is really hard for us but we know she deserves more. Thank you.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! 10 Months later Sadie is still without a home. Sadie - Cattle Dog Mix, Spayed, Microchipped, On flea and Heartworm preventative, Current on Vaccinations. Approximately 4-5 years of age. Sadie may not be the perfect dog, but she can be the perfect dog for somebody. She should be the only pet. She loves being outside, and being with her people that she trusts. If you are willing to give her the time to earn your trust, then you have a best friend for life. We don't know everything that happened in her four or five years before she came to SNAP, she is not aggressive towards people, but is fearful. She acts tough with her barks, but it is all based on fear. Volunteers that meet her can not touch her in the beginning, but after a week or so of Sadie seeing them everyday and getting her walks from them, she learns to trust them and she then loves all the attention she can get. Favorite things to do is play fetch, running in circles, and she is getting better with car rides! It will take a special person, for a special dog!
