Story
Ginger would do best in a only Pet home with a retiree or someone who has a lot of time to spend with her. She was abused before we got her, and still shows effects from it. She is protective of her food and her space, from other animals. She does good with kids, but is very nervous and has accidents in a storm or when reprimanded. She needs someone gentle, quiet, who has the time to make her feel safe.

Story
Bella is happy, friendly, gentle 2 year old girl who loves everyone she meets. She adores children, male dogs, car rides, walks, sitting in your lap cuddling and being your best friend. Bella's mom recently had to move back home where her mom already had the city's legal number of dogs and cats so Bella is looking for a new family to love and be loved by. She has a truly excellent disposition and will be your best friend for life. If you live in mid-Michigan, have a securely fenced yard (no e-fences!) and have excellent vet references, please email Arlene at silvar@msu.edu for an adoption application.

Story
About Maisy Lynn: Crate and potty trained. She’s very sweet, super chill most of the time but does love to play! She will follow you around nonstop so if you want a constant companion, she’s your girl. ☺️ She’s good with other dogs as long as they are good with her. My male puppy feels threatened by her so I keep them apart, but she is friends with my female dog! And as I said, she and Chester get along great. She has a gentle personality, and the conflict I’ve seen was not instigated by her. She’s a lover. 🥰 She does have some health issues so is on meds for those but could use some extra TLC.Please check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1.
