Story
Storm is a very loving, cuddly dog. He was a rescue when my son got him 4 years ago, we believe he is 7 years old. He does have some anxiety issues when left alone, he would do best in a home where someone is home the majority of the time, or where there is a fenced yard and he could be outside when alone. He is very well behaved, and potty trained, until left alone. His favorite trouble to get into is garbage cans, and anything that is left on the counter or in the sink. He does not do well in a kennel, he will freak out and use the bathroom if kenneled even for a short time. Other than his anxiety he is a very good dog, he will run if unleashed so a fenced yard would be ideal.

Story
MEET BRISTOL! We were told he's a husky/greyhound mix, though whatever he it's all sweetness! In word, Bristol is perfect. He gets along with dogs and kids and warms up to strangers once he sees them a time or two. (We don't know how he is with cats, though, as we don't have any history). Bristol is a petite, quiet guy -- he's dabbles with toys (food puzzle treats are a particular favorite!)  and occasionally will be down for a tug of the rope or fetch with tennis balls. He loves a good walk and car rides are no sweat (he'll just lay down in the back and snooze for the trip), he can do stairs and he holds his potty like a champ. In fact, we think he'll do well in a variety of households. Is he just too good to be true? Not at all! His foster says there's really nothing that's a challenge with him: "He is pretty much perfect in my opinion. He is quiet, rides well, house trained, gets along well and is super sweet. There is nothing not to like." Plus, he has the funniest expressions and cutest butt wiggle. Trust us, you NEED this polite fella in your life. If you're interested in adopting him, fill out an application -- link below!  BRISTOL, 7, husky/greyhound People-friendly: Yes! Dogs: Yes! Cats: Unknown Crate trained: Not a huge fan of crates Potty trained: Yes Special skills: Being the bestest boi and flashing his bestest boi smile! Our adoption fee is $225. Meet Honey! She is TRUE to her name and is quite the HONEY! <3 Honey came to us from the Animal Humane Society where she was quite stressed in the kennel environment but has done amazing in her foster home. She's adjusted well to living with other pups in the home and meeting lots of new people. Honey's ideal home is a bit calmer home with humans that will give her plenty of exercise and lovin'.  HONEY, 8, Pointer People-friendly: Very!  Dogs: Does best with larger dogs. Cats: Unknown Crate trained: Honey doesn't care for a kennel. She will do best in a home that doesn't prefer their dogs to be kennel.  Potty trained: Yep!  Medications: Proin (she will need this ongoing) Likes: Carry around tennis balls or stuffed animals, sleeping on the couch and getting pets from her humans! Special skills: She has the most wiggly butt! Story
MEET HOPE! She is a sweet, affectionate girl who just loves to snuggle up on the couch. She can be shy too, but she'll warm up quickly to humans of ALL ages. She does well with cats and dogs that respect her space -- she's not one to get all up in other critters' grill! She does have some health issues that require medications, but she is a champ at taking them and she has worked hard to overcome her challenges.  Please note: Hope's medications are approximately $100 per month plus specialty food. We are thankful to Susie's Senior Dogs, a wonderful group that is sponsoring Hope's adoption fee and a providing for a portion of initial medications for the lucky adoptive family!  Hopes story: Hope came to us grossly overweight and barely able to walk, with untreated Cushings, low thyroid, cherry eye, bladder stones and infected dewclaws -- she also had a mouth full of rotten teeth! We gave her "the works", and she is now regulated on her thyroid/Cushing meds, has a brand-new mouth and new feet! We did cherry eye surgery, but unfortunately it didn't take, so she is managing right now with daily medication for that as well. Hope is such a sweet, strong girl that just enjoys being around her people, so a family that is home more than away would be ideal for her. She walks well on-leash, but goes slow and would probably do best with shorter walks at a pace that allows her cute little legs to keep up.  Hope's foster family says you should adopt Hope because "Hope is a very sweet dog who just wants to spend her golden years chilling with someone who loves her (and has lots of treats!)." Her foster family also says, even though she has health issues, she's definitely worth the work!!!! Hope's spirit has been so strong to fight through things -- she deserves to be doted on and loved for her senior years. Think you may be her perfect family? Apply to meet her today! It's hard not to fall in love with this sweet girl! Apply to meet Hope here: www.greyfacerescue.org/adoption-application HOPE, Age 9, Lhasa Apso, 20 lbs People-friendly: Yes, shy with new people but warms up quickly Dogs: Yes, does better with calm dogs who respect her space Cats: Friendly Crate trained: Unknown, would need help getting used to her crate Potty trained: Yes Likes: Squeaky toys, cuddles and apples Our adoption fee is $225. Discount available for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies, distemper and bordetella), HW test, blood panel, a microchip and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.
