Story
I spent the first four years of my life tied up inside a barn. Oh so sad, but I'm ready to move on and leave that all behind. I'm high energy and will take some time to settle in, but when I do, I will be your buddy. I'd rather not be with other male dogs. I'm a ladies man. And, I will take some effort to undo the time on a chain - but would like a chance to see what life is like on the outside of that barn and this shelter if you have the time and patience to help me, I'd sure be grateful. ##607630##

Story
I'm out of work here at the shelter and looking for a job. I know that unemployment is high, but I'm a hard worker. I am super energectic and love  attention. I REALLY LOVE FOOD! One thing about me is I sure do act like a typical hound (HOOOWWWWLLLL)! I was shot in the leg, but I am back to normal now! My breed is described as a smart, brave, and sensible hunter, the Treeing Walker Coonhound is a genuine American favorite, nicknamed "The People’s Choice." And, don’t let the name fool you—we "Walkers" are runners and are capable of covering a lot of ground in a hurry! ##525121##

Story
I'm smart and beautiful. I had some bad luck. I was brought in injured and had to have my left front leg amputated. But, no worries. I don't intend to let that slow me down. I'm just grateful to have another chance at a beautiful life. My saying is "When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile. (Beautiful Life Quotes) So, I've learned to walk all over again. My momma was a gorgeous German Shepard and, best I can tell, daddy must have been an Catahoula as I'm a stunning mix of colors. I'm 6 months old. I will be about 60 lbs when I'm all grown up. I'm great with other large dogs. If you have a special home and heart, please contact the nice people who are helping me find a new home. ##590152##

Story
Link was owner surrendered here to the pound. We are still getting to know Mr. Link but his previous owners said that he is very playful loves to play with kids he can get little excited so would need to be watched around the little ones. He is crate trained and house trained, knows most all basic command words. He does need some work on the leash. He has lived with both male and female, dogs & cats. We have been told that he is playful, friendly with cats he does like to chase for fun but hasn't hurt any. We are still working on how he is with other dogs. Story
I am the Amazing Mazie! I am sweet and love people and children! I am house-trained and crate-trained and I also walk well on a leash! I understand basic commands as well as commands such as get out of the kitchen! I am a very well mannered girl. I listen well and I am eager to please. I would love a home to protect from all fuzzy things. I am athletic and would make a great running partner. It is just part of my breed that I'm not good with other animals - one of my qualities is a prey instinct that is strong. If you can use that instinct to your advantage, we might be buds furever. ##494396##
