Story
This is actually not my pet, I work with a women, She has other animals, She was going to put Joel down because he was getting nervous around her other animals. He was getting a little aggressive towards the other animals. I kept telling her not to put him down that I can get him an amazing home. He is such a good boy, he is a love bug and loves kisses! He is 8 years old and demands attention! He needs a home where he is going to be loved and is the only pet. I didn’t want him to lose his life because of a minor thing. I wish I was able to take Joel, unfortunately my boyfriend is allergic to dogs. If he was not allergic I would of took him in a heart beat! Please help me find this sweet boy a loving forever home!

Details
Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Harley was found on the side of a highway during high traffic. We brought her to a shelter who attempted to find her original owners, which was unsuccessful. The shelter updated her on all of her medical needs, such as shots and spaying. We took her into our home in hopes that she would be a good fit with our family, and to avoid her being kept in a shelter. Unfortunately our life is not a great fit for her needs, but maybe yours is! Harley loves people and desires their attention! She absolutely loves to play and run around, so having a yard would be ideal. If you want a cuddle buddy, she would be more than happy to join you on the couch at night or cuddle up in bed. While she has been learning commands quickly, Harley would be best suited for someone who is experienced with a high energy dog and is willing to put in the time to train her. We will be sad to see her go, but want to find someone who will love her and give her the best life possible!

Catahoula Leopard Dog Labrador Retriever

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Gideon is an 8 year old cuddly boy, weighing between 55 and 60 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines, flea and heartworm preventative medication. He is great with children - lives with 2 young kids and is incredibly patient with their attention. Gideon is a protector with high anxiety. He goes on high alert when out with his people on walks or car rides. He has been on anxiety medication for 3 years and has some destructive habits when separated from his people. A good home for Gideon would require someone with the patience and knowledge to help him through his anxiety. He needs a home with a yard, preferably fenced so he can run and roam. He is prey driven and has caught rabbits, snakes and turtles. He does well with other dogs when properly introduced and attends doggy daycare occasionally. I think he misses having a doggy friend but needs one that is not going to challenge his alpha spot or they may not get along.

Story
Kiva is a five year old Lab/Pit mix that I adopted four years ago. Over the years she has become a loyal companion. If you pass her up you will miss out on her spunky attitude that got her the nickname "diva kiva", the loving attention she gives, or the hours of cuddling. Kiva loves scratches especially behind the ears if you want a cute yawn. She has a fond love for ropes combined with a good game of tug of war. She will spend most of her day looking out the window watching the neighborhood. She is a active, intelligent, loving, dog with personality to spare. She is house and kennel trained with a good knowledge of sit, place, lay down, bed. Extremely food motivated. She is protective of her pack and incredibly loyal while providing laughable moments throughout the day with her goofy personality. Be ready for lots of tug of war with toys and playing fetch until both of you are exhausted, followed by curling up around your feet to take a nap.
