Story
We have had Violet since 8 w old, and she is now 14 m old. We have 3 children, 2 of which are 5 and under, as well as a 2 y old St. Bernard. Violet loves to play with the kids and our other dog. Violet is not aggressive; however, she is scared easily and nervous in new situations. She needs to be in a home that can provide her with more attention than we can. Also, she needs either a yard with a tall fence, a lot of land, or someone willing to walk and exercise her many times daily. We need to rehome her, b/c she jumps our 4 ft fence. We have tried several different things, but she keeps getting out of the yard. We live very close to a busy main road and I am scared she is going to get hit by a car. The first time she jumped the fence was about 4 months ago and it has been an ongoing battle. She does ok in a cage while we work . If left unattended for long periods, she will chew up things left out. She is house trained, but does have accidents at times.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My friend has 2 dogs that he would like, if possible, to be rehomed together. The 1st is a 2-1/2 yr old Pitt and 2nd is a type of pudge. The dogs were dropped off to him. He is sick and will be undergoing treatment soon, which requires hospitalization. Therefore, he will no longer be able to take care of them. He prefers not to take them to the local SPCA as he fears the Pitt will be euthanized, due to Pitts having bad reputations.

Story
Max is a 10-11 year old senior dog. We believe he is a beagle/collie mix. We rescued him about 6-8 months but need to rehome him because of allergies. I don't know how he gets along with little kids. He seems to get along with other dogs but he absolutely hates cats. I would not recommend a home with cats.

Story
Hi! My name is Loki. I'm a very energetic dog, and love to go on long walks until I'm tired out for a nap! My favorite toys include my Kong Chew Toy, Tug-A-War rope, and anything else I can't chew through! My current family got me from the SPCA. I was tied to a tree when the SPCA found me, without food or water, so I'm skinnier than most. I would like to go to a home with no cats, no dogs, and maybe a child over 5 years old, so they could keep up with me of course!! I do get along with dogs, but I love to be the center of attention, so I can get jealous.. I come with my old cage, if you don't have one, though it is a bit rusty and hard to set up. And of course, my Kong. I hope you consider me as your dog! My current family can't take care of me due to moving home to take care of their Grandmother, and they can't take me there, so I need a home FAST!

Labrador Retriever Shepherd (Unknown Type)

Female, Young
Loveland, OH
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Liberty is a great big friendly girl that loves to be the center of her families attention. She is sweet and tells you exactly how she feels at all times through a friendly paw on the lap or a playful grumble to play tug of war. She gets along and plays well with all animals but cats that are already skittish and like to run away from larger dogs should probably avoid her. She does love a good game of chase! Liberty has a big deep voice when she barks but is 'correction' collar trained and knows that there are certain times when she's not allowed to bark. She is fairly independent but really would thrive as a focus of attention in a small family. She's extremely empathetic and sensitive to how her family thinks of her. When she displeases her owner, she knows it and acts sorry until she knows you're not upset with her any more. Liberty is 2 years old. She likes water and with the right training could make a great swimming companion.
