Story
Dreama came to us as a stray from another shelter so although we don't know her entire history, we've known her long enough now to know that after her big intimidating bark... she's all "pussycat". She is a fun girl, playful and interactive, but just as happy to cuddle with you. She loves to have your attention, either playing, getting cuddles or belly rubs.Dreama has had no consistency in her life, being bounced around from shelter to shelter and place to place. Somewhere along the way she developed a habit of climbing fences and running away when she is not settled in. Because of that, her new home must have a fenced in yard with the fence being at least 6 feet high. Even with the fence she must be supervised on leash at all times. Once she has bonded with you she will become more trustworthy about staying, but this will take some time. She needs to know who she belongs to and where her home is.All in all, Dreama is a wonderful dog, lots of fun and snuggly. Let her into your life but stay in control, she will love you for it.

Story
Justice is a pretty girl with lots of energy. She loves outside playtime and really wants you to be out there with her. She also LOVES toys, but they will need to be very strong ones as she can destroy those less robust. Justice is a "person" dog, great with people but not fond of either dogs or cats, so she will be best as the only pet of the household. She needs a strong owner who knows how to set appropriate boundaries, and she will be great for long walks and hikes with the right person. We are recommending homes with older children, just because of her size and energy.

Story
We are in urgent need of a foster or foster to adopt home for 2 yr. old Millie. This beautiful girl has found herself in a shelter through no fault of her own. This beauty was found straying and has spent significant time in the shelter. She is a fun loving, affectionate girl who is beginning to suffer from stress at the shelter. The kind people at the shelter absolutely adore her and want nothing but the best for Millie. We are looking for a specific foster home because we wish to set Millie up for success. Millie is fearful of meeting strangers and needs her trusted person to introduce her to new people. Millie would prefer to meet new people with slow introduction. She will come to new people once she is comfortable and once she trusts you she will be your best friend. For this reason we are looking for a home with children 14 years or older. Millie is very food motivated and really wants nothing more than to have a secure and loving home where she can cuddle with her people. We are looking for a quiet home where there is not a lot of people coming and going. A rural home would be ideal As right now she is very reactive on leash to dogs and people. A large fenced in property is a must as this girl is young and energetic and needs her playtime. She would do well with a well mannered male doggy friend. No small animals or cats. Millie has a prey drive. We would prefer a home where someone is home more often than not. She will need a refresher on house-training which is why we prefer someone home to monitor and allow her to go out often at first. Millie is such a sweet girl and needs someone to give her the chance of her lifetime. If you think Millie would be a good fit for your active family, please fill in our on-line application at the top of the page. If you think you could help us, please come to our website and fill out the on-line adoption/foster application on the left. Our website is http://furkidsrescue.ca/dogs_adopt.html. Story
Meet the new and improved Orik! After several months of positive, regular training and life experiences, Orik is more settled and ready for a new family. He is still high energy & high drive and we must insist that his new family continue with his training exercises. He must have a fully fenced and secure yard. Although Orik is very affectionate with his people we do not recommend a family with children under 13 years, and no small pets (especially cats). He is a large and powerful dog and is not a candidate for dog parks. Orik is 2years old, neutered & up to date with vaccines. If you think you could help us with him, please come to our website and fill out the on-line adoption/foster application on the left. Our website is http://furkidsrescue.ca/dogs_adopt.html. If you have any questions, please email us at anmlresq@hotmail.com.
