Story
Cujo was a stray who adopted us and we love him. He’s a great dog, but You can tell he was abused and is very untrusting. He’s very unsure about men in particular, but will warm up eventually and is very loyal and loving. He likes kids, but they make him very nervous and has been known to nip. We hate to have to give him up but I have developed a lot of health problems (going on my third round of cancer) and just can’t take care of him the way he should be taken care of. He deserves a ton of love and attention! He really is a cool dog.

Story
Have had her her whole life. She is very sweet and just needs lots of attention. She loves to be held and snuggled. She has never been aggressive toward anyone and is very friendly. I have developed a lot of health issues and have a hard enough time taking care of myself that taking care of an aging dog has become too much.

Story
Annie spent several years at a rescue before she was adopted by a family. They moved and left her with their father in law, who really didn't like her much. He brought her here and she has been here for two years now. She is an awesome dog. They said she was great with the kids and was house trained and quiet and just wanted to lay around. She isn't good with dogs though. So she needs an only dog home. They had a cat that she was good with, but here she does show reactivity to the house cats. She is approximately 7 years old now and smaller than she looks in the photo. She weighs in at a perfect 45 lbs.. Please consider giving this girl a home. She has spent more of her life in a shelter than a home. She is a loveable, quiet girl that just wants a home of her own.

Story
Meet Reba. She is an absolute love. She is 6-8 years old. She loves all other dogs, good with cats and people. She lived her life out in a coop, but is now in a foster home and has been partially housetrained to a doggy door. We have labeled her special needs because she has an enlarged heart and liver, and kidney issues. She is on a kidney diet and takes meds for her heart and kidneys. .

Story
Cornbread is a delight. He is supposedly 10 years old, but if he is that old, he's quite spry for an old man. He can easily jump onto the bed or couch. He walks nicely on lead and loves to go for walks; he also likes to just hang out in the back yard. Mostly, Cornbread likes to be with his person (or people). He is affectionate, well-behaved, and good with dogs and cats. Cornbread also likes to sit on laps. He jumps straight up and settles in, like a cat--no climbing or pawing. At only 24 pounds, he's the perfect size for a lapdog, and you'll love petting his soft coat. He does have a flea allergy and other skin allergies that require he get frequent medicated baths and be kept flea-free. He has also become un-housetrained. He need to urinate frequently and will lift his leg in the house, even though there is a doggy door at his foster home. Cornbread is in a foster home some distance from Club Pet's shelter building, so be sure to call first if you want to meet him.

Story
Olivia. We honestly don't know her pedigree. She's smaller and has a more slender build than either a lab or a bulldog. We do know that she is a live wire and a very sweet girl. Olivia is looking for an active home. She is approximately 2-3 years old and very high energy. But she can be calm as well. She has been to several adoption events and has been very well-behaved. She would love to have some children to play with or another younger dog. She was found as a stray so we have no history. She may be too exuberant for small children at this point, and she needs some good structure and obedience training, and she is getting that in a nearby prison dog-training program, where she is bringing some lucky person love and joy. Olivia is beautiful and very sweet.
