Story
Shadow is definitely a young 11 yr old. She is in a foster home and they walk over 2 miles per day! She is totally housetrained, good with other dogs, kids and cats. She would do best in a home with someone who loves to walk and is home for her to be with her - she is a wonderful companion. She weighs about 25 pounds so the perfect medium sized dog!

Story
Betty is shy with new people, loves to go walks and really enjoys playgroup with the other dogs. She would do best in a home with a confident dog her size or bigger. She is housetrained and crate trained. If you have some love and patience, she would become a wonderful addition to a family. A fenced yard would be beneficial

Story
Our dog, Rivers is 8, and has been a wonderful pet. He has hiked and mountain biked all over the state with us. He loves children and is fully house and kennel trained with up to date vet records. Unfortunately he went blind last year due to SARDS (sudden acquired retinal degenerative syndrome) that occurs in dogs. He is a smart dog and can memorize his interior surroundings and simple exterior surroundings quickly. He is leash trained and does well on walks with a leash and does not pull. We are trying to find a loving home for him to someone that has a fenced-in yard. We live on a large property that is impossible to fence with a lot of obstacles like streams, large drop offs, and cacti. Even with an invisible fence, we have had trouble with him wandering off because he can’t see. We think he would thrive in a smaller yard with no dangerous obstacles where he could memorize his surroundings easily. Perfect opportunity to own a family friendly, mellow dog that is trained!

Story
Booter is very, very sweet and even-tempered. She joined our family at age 5 when her previous owner retired her from breeding. We are unsure how many puppies she has had. But since she has been spayed. You can see the tender, motherly instinct in her. She is great around kids and other dogs. We have had Booter for one year and are very sad to need to re-home her. She just recently tore her acl in her knee and we are financially unable to get her surgery. The vet said she will be okay without surgery, however we can’t afford the monthly pain meds either and are unable to exercise her each day to get the strength that she needs. She has been outside in a kennel at our house, however she will not go to the bathroom in her kennel so we believe she has been trained and house-broken. We wish we could give her more, but money is a stress for us; that is why we have decided we need to find her another home so she can have a better quality of life.
