Story
Dizzie may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but she sure is the funniest. We adopted Dizzie from a shelter when she was 6 months old. She's brought a lot of joy and laughter to our family the last 12+ years. She is a senior dog, but is still a play baby at heart, & loves fetch, galloping, and cuddles. She is very good on leash. She is very obsessed with cats. She's never hurt a cat, but she will mouth it and stick her nose all over it. As a senior puppy, she has developed hip issues. She can engage in an active family life, though not as intensely. Dizzie's diet is going to need some attention. She reacts poorly to stress and gets an upset tummy, needing to frequent the yard more often to do her business. It takes a while for her to warm up to visitors, too. Sometimes up to months. Blankets and pillows in her kennel are ill advised. But, a soft pad will do the trick! Dizzie is a sweetheart with medical needs. If you can attend to her health, she will attend to your heart!

Story
Sasha thinks she's such a princess, especially when she's rolling around in dirt! We adopted Sasha from an associate 12+ years ago when she was 5 months old. She's been our snuggly princess who hates baths ever since. Though she's a senior dog, she has a ton of energy. She doesn't play fetch, but will play keep away! She's good on leash but wants to charge ahead, and needs constant, gentle reminders to heel. Sasha enjoys it when company comes over, but gets very nervous around loud or sudden noises such as fireworks, yelling, or shrill beeping (e.g. a stopwatch, phone alarm, etc.) and will look for a place to escape or hide. Tall fences are a plus as this dog has some hops! Sasha is a sweetheart with humans, but tends to get very grumpy towards other pooches. Frequent, controlled, and supervised visits with another dog will help her get used to it, even if she still gives it the cold shoulder. She loves pets and constant, gentle reassurances, especially when getting groomed.

Story
Joey is a one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs ever. He is hairless on his belly and his fur is soft as a blanket. He has a half jaw and beautiful brown eyes. I love him very much, but unfortunately, he and his sister, Lucy, have issues with being house broken and peeing indoors. My family has decided to rehome them. Ideally, they could be adopted into the same home, but I understand the difficulty of that. He is a sweet boy who needs a loving family. Some of his challenges include a seizure medication he must take. He has water on the brain. The medication isn't very expensive. He easily takes it folded into american cheese. They love small, soft treats and dental sticks. He is like a baby and loves to cuddle. I really love him and I would love to see him and his sister go to a loving home that can deal with his unique challenges. Thank you much for your time and consideration.

Story
Bo was born with only one eye and very limited vision in his remaining eye. He is a very sweet and fairly docile dog but he does not see well and it has caused him to injure himself many times. He likes kids but because he cannot see them he tends to run into them. The same is true of other dogs, people, and furniture/walls. He also struggles with gaining weight. He has consistently been fed more than the recommendation and he is still very skinny.

Story
Blue was purchased as a puppy three years ago. She was crate trained and participated in a series of dog training classes. Blue has a pleasant demeanor, likes to play, run and chase, is obedient to several commands (down, sit, come) and enjoys snuggling. She likes walks and is pretty good on a lead. She is obedient to the "come" command and doesn't take off chasing after animals or people. Blue was to be a companion to our young son, however Blue tends to treat him more like livestock. She "plays" with him but she is not the companion we had hoped for. Blue will nip at his heels however we have discouraged that behavior and Blue has learned to keep a toy in her mouth so as to not actually nip. Unknown is marked in the description for dogs and people because she gets along with some but not all. Blue does submissive urination when she meets new people. Blue would be a very good, obedient, loving companion/playmate, snuggler, and walking partner for a teenager or adult.

Story
Cookie is a sweet, snuggly, and sassy pup. She loves to cuddle, give kisses, and play fetch. She is 4 years old, with lots of energy to play. She needs a home with people who will snuggle her and take her out for good exercise every day. She should not be in a home with children. Strangers make her nervous, but once she knows someone well, they are a friend for life! She is kennel trained, but will try to persuade you with her sweet cuddles to sleep in your bed. She really is a sweet, funny, and cute dog. We just cannot give her the home she deserves. She is also prone to bladder stones, so she eats urinary S.O. food to keep them from forming.
