Dinah is a little black staffordshire terrier girl. She is extremely people friendly, and usually good with other dogs, cats are untested yet. She loves to sit in your lap, and get huggs and kisses, and give them too! She is small at about 35-40 lbs, about 2 yrs old, and very playful and active, she would love another dog to play with in her new home. Please note: she needs a secure, high fence, as she can leap and climb easily. Please contact Dee at blueridgedogrescue@gmail.com with any questions, more information, and to meet this dog.

Story
Hopps is the sweetest little guy!! He is a 8 yr old 17lb chihuahua who is such a snuggle bug and loves nothing more then to cuddle and be with his people. He is honestly one of the BEST DOGS EVER. He is such a joy to be around and is dog friendly, cat friendly, and kid friendly.!!! He LOVES everything and every one. Hopps is such a easy going dog who Is perfectly behaved in the house as well as anywhere else you take him. He’s a dog you can take to brunch and on road trips and he’ll woo everyone he comes into contact with!! He’s a total teddy bear and would make a super addition to any household. Hopps is in good health although he does have a slight heart murmur and currently gets a pill daily for this. This is easy to keep up with and he just needs that special someone to give him a chance and allow him to finally know what it’s like to be in a loving forever family. Please let us know if you are interested in Hopps and giving him his happily ever after.

Story
Looking for an experienced “Pomchi whisperer" to foster or adopt Rocky, a 5 yr old 10 lb male Pomeranian Chihuahua mix. He is super cute and can be very sweet however he has suffered years of abuse so he reacts sometimes by trying to bite. 90% of the time he is an angel but 10% of the time he turns into a beast and is not for a inexperienced dog person or household. He needs someone that will spend time working with him so he learns that he is not going to be hurt and doesn’t have to react in a negative way. He is currently in a foster home and is making leaps and bounds however there are too many dogs there and people coming and going and we think a quieter less stressful home environment with allow rocky”s rehabilitation to excel. He has bit people and still try’s to bite especially when he has to go in a crate or when a collar/ harness is put on him. However once that collar and leash is on he loves going on walks. Rocky is a work in progress but he just needs that special person that is willing and able to work with him one on one and help build his trust. He is great with other dogs and animals and has no problem with kids although we will only allow him to go into a adult only home. Rocky is basically a diamond in the rough and he just needs that one special person to help turn everything around for him. If you think you could be that special person please contact us.
