Story
Zoe is a 7 month-old German Shepherd (loyalty and intelligence)/ Italian Mastiff (Cane Corso) (natural protective instinct and large size) mix. Zoe is very loyal, sweet, smart, eager-to-please and loving. Her and her siblings are well cared for and very loved in our care. We are proud that our facility stands out from the crowd as we spend time with the dogs, exercise them hiking on our 70 acre mountainous property, professionally train them upon request (I am a graduate of the Tom Rose Professional Dog Trainer School), feed them a mix of homemade raw and frozen dog food diet and regularly vet them while in our care. Some of our dogs are in foster care where they receive one-on-one personal love, care and attention from families and individuals that we pick very carefully. I am personally available to assist with any pet ownership questions for as long as you own dogs or as long as I am alive and well (regardless of the fact if you adopt from me or someone else). My contact information is: Dr. Matthew Kowalewski Paws and Tails Lifetime Companions PawsandTLC@gmail.com (262) 622-2234 Zoe and her siblings are a wonderful mix of the two large breeds. Their temperaments are lively and energetic, but they stay calm, focused and alert during proper training sessions. They are food and toy driven with the intelligence of the German Shepherd. They possess natural family protective instincts of their parents’ breeds, with intelligence and agility of the working line of German Shepherd breed as well as the family attachment, goofiness and extra large size of young Cane Corsos. They will be well over 100 lb when fully grown. They are up-to-date with their shots, current on heart worm, flea and tick medications and they are microchipped. They are crate trained and know basic commands. Basic and Advanced Obedience training (AKC Canine Good Citizen test preparation), Therapy Dog International test preparation, Competition Sport Dog, Emotional Support Animal and Service Animal trainings are all available at an additional cost. I am a licensed professional dog trainer. I train dogs and new pet parents as well as working dogs and their owners on how to handle and care for dogs and how to continue their proper training throughout their lifetime. Videos of training sessions are available upon request. “Board and Train” is also available. Each potential adopter/pet owner is required to complete an application, provide veterinarian reference and undergo criminal background check prior to approval. Upon approval, the new pet or working dog owner is required to sign an adoption contract that requires the new owner to follow with proper veterinary and nutritional care for the life of the dog and return the dog to me if life circumstances require the owner to surrender the dog due to unforeseen events. Puppies come with Health Guarantee against any genetic life threatening diseases and hip dysplasia. The Health Guarantee does not cover injuries and sicknesses sustained under the care of the owner, for example injuries or sicknesses due to improper nutrition, malnutrition, improper physical and personal care, overweight, contagious diseases or accidents. A veterinarian visit will be required to verify the source of any issues. Please, educate yourself about proper pet ownership, dog’s diet, exercise level for the breed type, vet care, vaccinations, your legal responsibilities as a pet or working dog owner and any applicable city and state ordinances and licenses required before obtaining your new four legged family member. Zoe has been socialized with other dogs and people. She is dominant so proper introduction to other pets is required. She is going to be extra large in size, but agile, loving, loyal and attentive to her owner. I strongly recommend joining your local dog club and inquiring about professional dog training classes in your area. Dog training improves your life and your dog’s quality of life. Zoe is a confident puppy with personality that is a good fit for a well behaved pet or a candidate for a working dog, but it will require time and devotion on your side to provide the appropriate training that I or another professional dog trainer can help you with.

Story
I adopted my sweet girl almost four years ago from Saukville Humane Society (she's originally from Oklahoma). She’s about 6 years old and is a Lab mix.Lola is a loving dog and, despite her solid 60 pounds, believes she's a lapdog :) She's a quirky girl who has anxiety and probably had a hard life before coming to me. She mellowed out a lot in the time I've had her; however, my twins are starting to walk and it's too much commotion/chaos for Lola. Lola is the perfect dog for someone (or a couple) with a quieter lifestyle and no other pets and no children. She loves snuggles, car rides, going for walks, her plush toys and chewing bones, and hogging the bed :) Lola does not do well crated (escapes). Lola has spay related incontinence and takes oral medication (Proin daily, DES twice a week). She also has a prescription for Trazodone (taken before vet appointments and other anxiety-provoking events -fireworks, thunderstorms). She easily takes her meds—when wrapped in cheese or deli meat :)
