Story
Hi! I'm Malcolm and I have this wonderful dream. In my dream, I have my very own home filled with love, comfort, and kindness. A gentle, patient human mom showers me with affection and tells me often that I'm a good boy and she loves me. My dream mom likes that I follow her from room to room; she thinks it's sweet that I always want to be near her. When it's time for potty business, she comes outside with me into the small fenced yard and patiently waits for me to finish up. She knows that being outside can frighten me, and she doesn't leave me alone. When we come back inside, she gives me a yummy treat and praises me. I am so happy and feel so loved! For me, this is all a dream because I never had any of those things growing up. Before I was rescued, I knew only the cold, damp, frightening outside pen where I was born and the fearsome human man who was unkind to us dogs in the pen. I never knew the warmth and comfort of blankets, dog beds, and gentle hands. Since I was rescued, I have learned that life can be so much better than I ever knew. Now I am ready to find my own forever home with my dream mom. I remain frightened of men and children, and I do need a fenced yard because being outside can be scary and a leash just raises my fear. That said, I am house-trained, crate trained, and I ride well in my car crate. I'm a healthy, sturdy 18 lbs., and at just 2 years old, I will have many, many years to spend adoring my mom and basking in her love. Won't you be my mom? If you take a look at my online album at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/malcolm , I bet you'll want to make my dream come true.  Our adoption fee is $175 for adult dogs or $225 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info.

Story
Beatrice is a cute and quirky dog with personality to spare! This senior chihuahua mix is a “little old lady” right down to her no-nonsense attitude and homebody ways. Her vision and hearing have faded some with age but she doesn’t miss much, especially when food is involved! Beatrice comes off shy at first and prefers to meet new people slowly. Once she has time and space to check you out, she is sweet, affectionate, and silly! Beatrice keeps her foster family laughing with her antics and likes to stay close to her favorite people during everyday activities like laundry and cooking. Beatrice enjoys sunbathing, going for walks, and occasional “zoomies” around the house. She likes her chin rubbed and never turns down a tasty snack. Beatrice would do best in a quieter home and would be an excellent match for almost any adult home. She could be comfortable with gentle, older children though she does startle at loud noises and quick movements. Beatrice would do wonderfully as a solo dog and could live with another mellow dog who would give her space.

Story
Pepper has settled in to home life very quickly. She walks nicely on a leash and will sleep quietly in her kennel at night with the door open, or on her dog bed. She is house-trained and lived with another dog and a cat, however she would not be a good fit if your existing dog is looking for a wrestle buddy. She would be a better match for a mature dog that doesn't want to be pestered because she really doesn't want an energetic pup (or person for that matter) jumping on her. She would also be a great only dog. She already knows her manners and will sit, stay, leave it and wait to be invited before jumping up on the couch. She is a lady about getting her teeth brushed, nails trimmed and taking her monthly pills. She can be left home alone without kenneling and will wait for you by the door. Pepper has made great strides losing her extra few pounds so she needs a family that will help her lose a few more and then maintain a healthy weight through walks and healthy portion control. So far she just really wants to be cuddled, roll in the grass and get belly rubs. Kids make her anxious so she needs to go to an adult only home. This sweet girl is game to try just about any adventure, as long as she is with her people. She rides great in the car and boat. She greets the little neighborhood dogs sweetly. She is a little slow to approach strangers, but warms up quickly, especially if they have a treat. She is a wonderful, loving dog that will do almost anything for her family. All she needs is you.Be sure to check out the many stories, pictures and videos about her on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet her today!! Story
Hello! My name's Putter and I'm ready to be your new best friend! I am an American Bulldog/Retriever mix weighing around 70 lbs. They tell me I am a sweet, smart dog who is considered medium energy. My favorite things include cuddling, car rides, and long walks! I would prefer a home with no kids and could do well with the right dog or cat who can respect my space. I love to play fetch, but sometimes I don't understand that I have to drop the ball to keep playing! . I know basic commands like sit, down, paw and I walk pretty well on a leash. I'm slow to warm up but once I know you, you'll have all my love forever! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $375All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
It doesn't get any sweeter than Bersa! This six and half year old Rottweiler has SO much love to give and all she wants is love (and lots of pets) in return. This mama dog has been through a lot in her life and spent the first six years having lots of puppies. She was dumped outside a shelter in Texas WHILE giving birth, and only two of her litter survived. The shelter was kind enough to rescue her and arranged to transport her and her two pups up to JRs PupsNStuff. Once she arrived in Wisconsin, she was spayed and had to have many mammary masses removed as a result of years of breeding. She is such a trooper and is recovering well!Despite her hard past, Bersa absolutely adores people and wants all the cuddles and affection she can get! And she deserves every bit of it. This sweet mama is house trained, can be trusted in the house outside of a crate when you're gone, and adores playing with toys! She lives with a senior small dog currently and they get along well. She's very smart, eager to please, and responsive. If you've ever had a Rottweiler or spent time with one, you know that they are such loyal and loving companions. While we don't have any kids in our home, I would imagine Bersa would adore them! At 105 pounds Bersa is a big girl and working on shedding some weight (her healthy weight is likely around 85-90 pounds). She loves to go for walks and get her sniffs in or roll around the yard in the grass. She's a happy girl with a new lease on life!Bersa has lots of nicknames in her foster home (Mama B, Meemaw, Hippo, Big Mama, Queen B to name a few) and is pure joy to be around. How would you like to be the light of her life and give her the home she deserves? Ask to meet this sweetheart! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: Check back soon! All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations.
