We have had our sweet guy for almost 8 years now. He is a shelter dog with a big loving heart. He is mostly a lab and has pointer markings on his body. Cowboy loves to roam and also loves to jump the fence. For this reason we are unable to keep him.My husband and I both work full time and we have 1 one year old boy. The prospective owner will need to have a 6ft fence or higher. He needs to be ran and played with often; He is the sweetest dog ever, just a little too much for our growing family and work schedule.Love- Cara Madill

Layla is a 1 year old, 34 lb miniature lab mix. She is a gentle girl that, despite a hurtful past, wants to love humans. She's eager to please and super smart! She learned to sit and shake in one short session. Due to her previous life, she is timid and will require someone who understands how to nurture her and earn her trust. She's learned to go in her house(crate) when asked. She does have separation anxiety when you're gone though and will chew a bed or toy, but if she has a T-shirt that smells like her people, she'll snuggle it and feel much better. Speaking of snuggling, Layla was born to snuggle!!! She is THE best cuddle buddy you could ask for because sheâs also the perfect size. She enjoys playing with her foster sisters now that she knows that wonât hurt her. So, she'll do well in a home with another playful dog. Sheâs good with children and chickens! She hasnât met a cat yet. Layla will make a wonderful family dog! If you can give her a loving home, please fill out an application and letâs see if itâs a good fit.
