Story
These sweet mixed breed puppies are almost 8 weeks old and are ready for their forever families! They are all friendly and healthy. Located in foster care in Tacoma! Posting pics of the males here and the females in another listing. The mom is a shepherd pit mix and we don't know about the dad. Some pups seem to have a little catahoula markings! Your guess would be as good as ours. Adoption fee is $500 Puppies are vaccinated, dewormed and will be microchipped. They will come with a starter bag of puppy food, harness, collar, dog bed and more! Puppies will come with a spay/neuter contract which means you will be required to bring them to one of our vets to be neutered/spayed at a later date which is included in the adoption fee. You can choose to bring to your own vet at your expense for the surgery and provide proof of alteration. Please submit an online application to be considered for one of these sweet babies. https://forms.gle/RhihNG5Kxj8PgnS27

Story
Augie is a laid back retriever pit mix that I adopted from NOAH in 2014. He is about 7 years old and has food allergies to chicken, beef and grain. He loves playing at the dog park, going for walks and chewing up toys. He is hard on his toys so he needs the tougher toys. He loves dear antlers and cuddling on the couch. He has all of the basic obedience training and follows rules well once you show him what they are and remain consistent. He has a high amount of energy but doesn't really show it unless it's time to play. The rest of the time he is content to lay around especially if he is with you. He does get a bit excited when he sees other dogs because he wants to meet everyone. He is able is to live with other dogs, cats and kids. If he exercises too much he can have a seizure so he needs to not run full out too often like with playing fetch but does not need medication at this time. I hope that his next home will love him, set firm boundaries, play with him and walk him often.

He is a great watchdog, barks at whatever is happening outside. He is perfectly healthy. Must not live with another Alpha male.

Story
Pika was in need of a new home after being adopted for only one day, due to the adopter not being able to provide accommodations while he worked. I took Pika to foster her so she wouldn’t have to go back to the shelter. Pika is a HIGH ENERGY dog meaning she needs to be exercised every single day. A house with a yard for her to play in is ideal and parents who will walk/run her twice a day. She is eager to learn and needs to be taught basic manners (such as not jumping up) is sweet, and likes to play. She walks proper on a leash and gets along with my two boy dogs. Pika is very smart and loves toys. She’s 2 years old. I have all of the adoption paperwork for her adopter and microchip info.

Stubby is an owner surrender at 11 years old due to owner having serious health issues. He is very loving and protective of his people. Stubby is a kissy face easy to handle boy. He doesnt act his ago and has a few small fatty lumps but is otherwise in great health. It takes him a few treats to get comfortable with strangers. He is a quiet gentleman. He was scheduled to be put to sleep on a Thursday by the owner but by a miracle a few individual rescuers were able to come up with boarding for him at a kennel to keep him safe. A volunteer has been going down to the kennel to spend time with him several times a week. If interested please contact p2h at paws2heartrescue@yahoo.com

Story
Meet Evan, a 2 year old pitty. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully potty trained. I would describe him as a “giant puppy”. He’s energetic, playful, and cuddly. Evan enjoys long walks, attention, and he even knows a handful of commands & tricks — he can sit, shake, “speak”, and be “gentle” when taking treats. With all that said, Evan needs a *specific* home — no other pets, no small children, and a fenced yard. Although he hasn’t injured another animal (he lives with a cat), he is leash aggressive and has a strong prey drive. A lot of this can be trained out of him, but unfortunately I don’t have the money or resources to afford a proper trainer

Story
Joe is a wonderful, very calm boy that would love an easy going home of his own. His previous owner would let him roam and would not go looking for him for days at a time. When they moved, Joe was out wandering so they moved without him. He’s such a sweet tempered boy, he really deserves a loving, forever home that will give him the care he needs and deserves. When Joe is out on a walk, he’s wonderful with everyone he meets. He likes to lean up against you for lots of affection and would climb in your lap if you let him. When he’s at home, he can be a protective boy so he must have a bully breed experienced home. He loves to run around the yard but he’s not too interested in playing fetch. He does loves his toys, though, so lots of indestructible toys would be great. Otherwise, Joe is really a couch potato kind of guy. If he’s excited or hears something out of the norm, he will give a bark or two, so he’d be a great watch dog. Because Joe bonds quickly and can be a bit protective, and adult only home would be best. Joe has never been socialized with other animals so he must be the only dog in the home. He is fully crate and house trained and can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. He must have a 6ft securely fenced yard.
