Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*As of 2/24/2020 * This is handsome boy Bo.  He has been in a very LOVING foster home for 53 weeks and 6 days.  He’s been looking for his FUREVER home for 377 days.  He’s been hoping for HIS family for 9048 hours. Bo has been dreaming for his home to come along for 542,880 minutes.  Not one of those 32,572,800 seconds has gone by without looking, hoping, and dreaming!    *Updated 2/18/2020 Hard to believe that I have been in foster for over 365 days now. The year has flown by, and I have learned so much more about living a good relaxed life. I am still a work in progress, but I am still a loveable goof that likes to squeak my toys and drink lots of water; in fact, I drink to just about anything...when I come in from outside, when anyone laughs, if a commercial comes on the tv, a birds flies by...I take a swig of water. Which means, I like to go outside a lot to go potty! I go out on a tie out leash now and still manage to have some fun times running around, but I know, I would love to be able to have a fenced in yard to run around even more. I know, I am loved and cared for but I am still wondering about my forever home. Is there another family out there that can understand my rough edges and huge loving heart? I will give you a high five anytime to show you how much I am in it with you; are you a strong dog owner that can high five back?  *Updated 10/24/2019* Woo Hoo! Bo is excited to let you know that he has officially been removed from "training hold status"! He has been working so very hard to learn how to meet new people but still needs slow introductions. He truly is a wonderful, loving, respectful, obedient, and hilarious pup with his foster family. He has personality plus and to say he loves his sqeaking pig is an understatement. Bo is a great dog and companion, that has so much fun and love to give;though he will for sure need a family that has their thumbs on him at all times when new people or animals are around. Day to day, he is just so much fun and easy going. He loves to just be a part of the family and hang out whereever they are. Update 9/15/2019- Foster Coordinator observations I finally got an opportunity to meet Bo about a month ago at one of his training sessions. When I walked through the door there was a few barks but his foster parents made sure that they had him in control. As I made my way to the kitchen table and sat down, I placed my hands in my lap. Within a few minutes of sitting down he had settled down and came up to me to sniff. 30 seconds later he is giving sweet little kisses on my hands. Knowing how he was before training I just let him keep coming up to me and not looking at him or petting him. After about 15 minutes of that I gave him some much deserved pets, he is as sweet as pie. Bo and his foster parents have came so far in the last few months. They all have gotten out of there comfort zones and helped this boy with the hardest part of his life! I know there is someone out there that has the time, patients, and love that this guy deserves! Foster Updates-8/25/2019 Bo is loving the dog days of Summer and the wonderful toys that have been sent his way. Hanging out in the yard and munching on some grass is a great day for Bo. He also loves the freedom to run through the house squeaking his pig toys; sounds like he is practicing duck calls for the upcoming hunting season. He continues to work with a trainer, meet new people, and enjoy all the things that come with living his best life. Fall is coming quickly; he is ready to start sporting some team gear and watch some football! Keep watching for more updates and see which team he will supporting! Update 8/2/2019 - Intake Coordinator observations* Bo's foster parents took him in nearly 7 months ago with limited knowledge of how exactly to handle him safely in their home. Guess what happened? They learned! He learned! They have allowed him a place to feel at ease as he tested himself beyond his boundaries,  continuously stretching himself all the while adding to their own skill set, knowledge and expanding their own boundaries. When I first met Bo back in February, he barked, lunged, stared and exhibited red zone behavior. Fast forward to now and I've gotten chin kisses, been allowed to check his teeth, rub his sweet face and give him an abundance of neck scratches. He is still on alert when I come to see him, but he no longer lunges or barks. He sits with excitement and allows for pets. He still has to learn a few things when it comes to 'stranger danger', but he is well on his way! He has learned how to walk on a leash, watch and listen for his commands and so much more. He's responding beautifully to training. He will always live a lifestyle of training and will need a home committed to continue and maintain his training. Bo is crushing his second chance proving to everyone what time, patience and training can do for a dog. Oh and he's graduated from Behavioral Hold to Training Hold. Whohoo!! Update 6/23/2019* The calendar said "Summer" and Bo is ready to start his work with a professional trainer/behaviorist and to enjoy some warm summer weather! His foster family is hopeful that he can finally learn to greet new people appropriately every time and show everyone the loving, goofy, sweet side that they see. It is not going to be an easy or quick journey but we are all hopeful that this training is going to help him be equipped to live his best life and enjoy all the wonderful people he will meet along the way. Training starts on June 26th! His foster family will keep us updated on his progress. Stay Tuned! Bo also says that he would love any new toys anyone would like to send his way as an incentive to work hard--he especially loved his squeaky pig that he recently unstuffed Update 5/12/2019* Bo wants you to know that he is still working his way towards finding a family to call his own! He is loving Spring and being able to enjoy the sun and smells. He still struggles with remaining calm when meeting new people and continues to work on that.  Barriers such as being in his kennel or gated cause him to bark, jump, and get anxious when he comes in contact with these new people.  Once he is able to be free to greet people without a barrier or leash, he has been fine...though this is always done with caution as he is a powerful pup. He truly is a loving, sweet, funny, smart, and polite pup to his foster fur-sisters and parents and to guests once he get used to them being around. He wants to be with his people but feels more comfortable sleeping in his own bed at night. And he loves to gallop throughout the house playing with any and all toys he sees; the squeakier the better:) He has done well with the resident pups and a visitor pup but is not attached to having them around; he really just tries to fit in. He hopes to be ready to start meeting potential families soon and encourages people to reach out about him if you are interested in hearing more about him. *Update 4/3/2019* Update on Bo from his foster family.   What a lover and pleaser this pup is. Bo just wants to be part of the family and hang around with people wherever they are. He loves to be outside and take in all the smells of spring, so a fenced in yard would be ideal to let him explore the world as much as he can. We are still working on meeting new people. He initially tends to make people a bit apprehensive with his bark and pulling but when allowed to come up to the visitors, he has done very well. It really seems like he just wants to be able to meet everyone; barking and being crazy is his way of making that known.  Thankfully, he inches he way into the petting zone of people without aggression and will allow the other pups to get some attention also. Training on this will be on going. He has done a great job with the two resident female pups but he really likes to have people’s attention, so having another dog is not a priority. He also loves to gallop around and play with his toys. It is hilarious when he is tossing them up in the air and across the room. He really is a great dog and will be a great companion to the right person or family that allows him to be as active of a participant in their lives as they should be in his. Greetings Boxer Lovers! My name is Bo. Some of you may recall seeing me last year; I am back in the loving hands of MNBR again. It is a bummer because it is not really my fault…well sort of not my fault:) I just really was not feeling the environment I was in; I could not relax, trust, and be myself. I am all settled in my foster home now. They have been taking all things slowly with me as they did not know what to expect with me and knew that any mistakes made could be costly for me. Thank goodness, they are top notch and saw something in my smile, and I could feel that this is the right place for me to figure all about what is good in the world. I do well with my foster fur-sisters (though it took a few weeks for them all to trust and see that I am one cool dude). I get it; they had to make sure all was safe. Now comes the phase that I am most scared and excited for…..meeting new people! I kind of act crazy with barking and lunging when new folks come around; pretty scary for most folks that cannot see my tail wagging behind me. I will get this down too, but it may take some time. I heard my foster Mom talking and she said that I am super smart, sweet, goofy, sensitive, and am better behaved than my foster fur-sisters. Ha-Ha ladies:) She also said that my next family will have to be on top of their boxer game too and have to know that loving me has to be a commitment they are willing and able to make forever! I promise I will make it worth that commitment! Feel free to reach out about me but please do not be upset if we are not a perfect match; I am searching as you are and the right matches are made when they are truly right!   *Must be an experienced dog owner  **If you can commit to having an abundance or patience, discipline, and love, you could be exactly what this deserving pup needs.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Update 2/19/2020* Chevy is ready for winter to be over! While he loves to eat the snow, and loves to plow through the snow banks, he is very ready for the warm weather so he can co on longer walks. Not a lot of updates today, he hasn't had potty accidents in months which is great! We have a puppy sitter that has been visiting so they can get used to each other so we can go somewhere for a day or two without having to worry about him and those visits are going very well. We also visited a trainer this Saturday who gave us some pointers to help with training and we will be working on those on a nightly basis *Update 1/14/2020* With the holidays and the cold winter weather our socialization training has slowed down. In the house we continue to work on stay, leave it, and ringing the bells to go outside. Chevy has a potty routine so it's not often he has to ask to go outside so he hasn't rang the bells to go out yet, but he has been doing great in the house, no accidents in over a month! For Christmas he received some pig toys that honk, those were a hit!  By far his favorite toy to date. I also found a squeaky ball that he has yet to chew apart, and he likes to pounce on it in the snow and try to dig it out which is super cute to watch *Update 11/29/2019* If you are looking for a cuddle bug this guy is it! He absolutely loves to be on your lap, and if you are sitting next to someone he will sprawl himself out over both of you to to ensure he gets all the love! Need to move or reposition him? Just move him wherever you want he doesn't mind! One of my favorite things about him is he loves to sleep on his back with his feet up in the air, it is absolutely adorable! Chevy has also become patient with food, he is to the point I don't have to say "Leave It" every time I set some food on my lap, and if we eat on the couch watching TV he lays down at my feet and waits patiently for a bite. Some more good news, we've met the trainer twice and she noticed a good change in how responsive he was to on leash commands! We are still working on socializing with people as well, it can be a bit scary for him at first since he is not used to meeting new people but treats are a quick way to make any stranger his friend! :) *Update 11/162019* Chevy is becoming quite the well-rounded house dog I knew he could become! He sits and waits for me to put his food down for meals, he is learning to "leave it" and not touch food if I am sitting by him with it or set it in front of him and won't touch it until I give him the ok. We haven't had a potty accident in the house in over a week now that we understand his bathroom needs and he is still learning to ring the bell to go outside. We allow him to roam the house with restrictions while we are at work and as long as food, dishes, or anything enticing is out of reach he mostly sleeps throughout the day until we get home. He absolutely LOVES car rides, if you leave your car door open you are guaranteed to find him in there waiting if he can sneak in. He loves playing with his toys, the squeakier the better and is getting really good at sitting and waiting for me to throw the toy when I take it from him. He's been doing good with people lately, he's still cautious of some new people but once he warms up he just wants to be pet by everyone. We also recently started to work with a trainer to get him more social with other dogs, the first session went great and we were able to walk him past the trainer's dog, and have her walk past him real close without him barking or lunging! It will take repetition for him to be calm and confident around other dogs but to see such a change in the one session shows he is capable and willing to do better! :) *Update 10/31/2019* Chevy is working hard to become the "Goodest of Boys". We had a few potty accidents last week but have been good again this week. We have recently learned how to "Give" and let go of toys when asked, however he gets quite excited about new toys and doesn't want to give them up so I use treats as a trade off so I can take the toy. We are working on bell training to go outside, he knows how to ring the bell, now we need to learn how to ring it to go potty outside. Chevy is learning to sit and wait for his food, I make him "stay" until I set it down, and we are working on "stay" as a general command as well and he is catching on! Chevy used to jump up often out of excitement or if you have food but now he sits more often than jumping as he has learned that sit will get him pets or the food that he wants, and only jumps on occasion now so it is still a work in progress but he has come a long way from when he first came to us! Chevy is still uncomfortable meeting dogs face to face, and has been uncomfortable with a few strangers so we are looking at utilizing a trainer to help him be more comfortable with strangers and other dogs. Overall he is a very happy and loving boy that will be happiest in a home of his own with no other dogs or cats, and older children that won't get knocked over easily if he gets a little rambunctious. He loves his toys, the squeakier the better, loves his walks, and when he isn't playing or walking he is happiest cuddled up on your lap or right next to you :) *Update 10/2/2019* Chevy has been progressing nicely the past few weeks and we have learned so much about him! He loves people, but can be cautious of new people and occasionally barks at people across the street since he is unsure of who they are. When walked over to them he is more than happy to be pet by them. At night he is a little more cautious since it is harder to know who it is and does bark and growl a little more often but with a little reassurance he mellows down. In the house he wants to just crawl in your lap and be loved on by you and give you kisses.   Chevy did come up from Missouri with another boxer, Molly, and he enjoyed her company but he is having troubles meeting new dogs face to face and does act aggressive towards them. He has met a dog in his crate and did not react to the dog, and has sniffed a couple small dogs that were being held with no issues. At this time I still feel he will be best as an only dog so he can absorb all of your love!    We have made trips to the pet store which he loves, mostly because there are lots of people, and even though he can have too much energy at home for kids he does love their attention at the store and stands nicely for their pets.    The resource guarding has decreased immensely, I can pet him while he's eating and he is nice about taking treats. if you give him a bone and you want to take it away I use another treat as a distraction as even the best of dogs can be defensive of their bones. Chevy has learned it is ok to let me take the toy as I will throw it for him, sometimes he will try to move away but he always drops the ball once my hand touches it and gets ready for me to throw it again. He is currently learning to "give" to make it easier to get the toy since it is a bit of a game currently.    Potty training is also progressing, when he first came to us he marked and went potty in the house and in his crate often. We do let him out of the crate over lunch but otherwise he has not gone potty in his crate during the day and he is getting better about going longer in between potty breaks when we are home. Chevy sleeps with us at night and is quite the cuddler and he has not had accidents over night which is great!   Did I mention he is roomba approved?!? He definitely didn't care for it at first but has come to learn it is nothing to be bothered by and leaves it alone. *Chevy came all the way from southern Missouri and is settling into his foster home.  He's a goofball and adores people.  He loves to be with his people.  He loves the car and exploring his neighborhood.  He is crate trained!  He will easily knock over kids, that is one reason why he was surrendered.   We are working on his resource guarding and he is a fencer jumper/climber.   He is also working on learning to be introduced to other dogs in a safe and proper manner, but he will thrive on not having to share his humans with any other pets!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

He wants to sit next to you on the couch with his head on your lap or cuddle up in bed with you if you'll let him. He loves going outside for walks and to frolic in the back yard. He is the perfect gentleman while being left out of his kennel while you're gone. He'll just find a cozy spot to relax while waiting for you to come home. He never has accidents in the house *Update 8/11/19* Hi all, I have been really enjoying the quiet and calm life at my foster's home.  I really love to just sit and watch TV on the couch or my bed, and get leisurely walkies.  I would do best in a calmer household with older kids who respect my space (but I may not respect theirs, I do love pets).  My fur foster sister is a hoot and I enjoy watching her frolic, and she knows to give me my much-needed rest after walkies.  I can handle a calmer or polite dog friend, but it's not needed, i can live the solo dog life with my humans!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Update 3-23-2020* Coleman is back at the U for his next surgery. At his Oncology consult they too recommended we try to remove the remaining tumor and gave us a less invasive option that should hopefully still be very successful. He is otherwise a very healthy boy for his age so MNBR decided to move ahead with this surgery.    His tumor was continuing to grow quite rapidly, so over time it would cause him quality of life issues due to the lack of skin on his leg, especially since so much was removed during his first surgery.    While the U is on a reduced surgery schedule and only doing emergency cases they agreed that fitting Coleman in ASAP was important to get the surgery done before the cancer grew/spread any further.    His foster mom asks you all send him some positive thoughts tonight, as it’s his first night away from her and with his anxiety it will be hard on him, and especially tomorrow morning during surgery.    We won’t know the full scope of what they will remove until they are in there but Coleman could very likely end up with a flap and a drain and a month of sutures so he’s in for a rough couple of weeks. He healed really well last time, even after busting a couple of stitches, so hoping this will repeat and we’ll be taking advantage of his foster mom’s temporary COVID remote working schedule to get him up and running again.    Once he recovers he will go off medical hold and we’ll start working on finding his perfect family! He’ll need an understanding family who gets he’s always going to make a mess when he eats and drinks, that he’ll slobber all over the place always since his tongue is always out and he really needs a family who is home all the time or almost all the time. We’ve worked on his anxiety but for him to thrive he’ll do best having his people with him as much as possible!    We’ll provide an update once he’s back home!  *Update 2-15-2020* We got his test results back yesterday and unfortunately two of his lumps came back as MCT’s, neither of which have clean margins. One was the giant lump on his back thigh, the other was in his nubbin. I’ll spare you the details but the giant one appears that it is not able to be removed without drastic measures that are not in Coleman’s best interests. We do have a follow up appointment scheduled in two weeks to determine what his path forward looks like and get a second set of eyes on his test results. He is doing good after the stitch fiasco and his wrist is looking better. He’s going to get lots of love and spoiling over the next two weeks and then we will determine what is next for Coleman . All positive thoughts for him will be much appreciated! *Update 2-9-20* I got all a mouth lift recently, along with some lumps and bumps removed, which means I get to wear a sexy e-collar and bodysuit, but I promise my sweetness and personality were not removed with the lumps.   I am settling into my third foster family as I struggle with Separation Anxiety and am slowly learning that my foster mom CAN leave the house and that she will return, but it's a process.   I will need a plastic crate as it keeps me safe and a lot of Kongs filled with goodies. I can co-exist with dogs of all sizes, and boy, do I love my walkies.   My tongue is permanently sideways, no idea why but all the humans around me say it's from an old injury.   I am the messiest eater- so highly suggest either a Neater Feeder or someone who likes to clean my mess up daily :) I am still on Medical Hold as the vet waits for results of the lumps removed.  I accept donations for my surgery!  Cash, PayPal or Treats, your choice! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Update 3/23/2020* Clara is doing great in her new foster home.    I love peanut butter I don't even care if it hides my fish oil, melatonin and Thyroid meds. See fish oil and melatonin are to help me have beautiful fur, mine is kinda thin due to some issues which is a side affect of the condition that my thyroid med is helping with. Good news is my hair is coming back and I look great! Been going for walks in the neighborhood which is interesting to see people and other critters. I get kind of excited so working on that and getting focused on the next thing to sniff. My foster Dad doesn't think I am really almost 7 years old as I have crazy energy and excitement for my human friends. I have no problem hanging out in my kennel while my foster Dad goes to work. I go 4 hours or so at a time in my kennel most days and am fine with a bone, kong and blankies. I loooove my food, so much that if you blink you may miss me eating it and wonder if you gave me any LOL. I have met a few people in my home and make instant friends. I am told I am the best snuggler ever! I am really happy to be off my recent training hold and can now be considered for adoption.  *Update 2/12/2020*  Clara has gotten settled into this amazing foster home/training facility. This week they are working on some testing... Here is what her trainer has to say!  Playing around with food and possible resource  guarding - I have not been able to get her to do it at all (I have not yet added commotion or other dogs around). When I do this in her kennel she definitely gets apprehensive and seems to slowly shut down but she's never attempted to growl or go after me. She simply just stops eating lowers her head and ears and backs away. I could definitely see if provoked or pushed she would go past a normal limit but it's definitely not her personality, it's fear and likely she has been pushed to far:    I was returned to rescue after having some issues with my fur brothers in the house after nearly two years of co-existing.  I am being assessed by a trainer in his home for the next few weeks to see if we can figure out what my triggers are and to get my thyroid issue under control.  I am nearly bald from it!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Update 3/11/2020* Liz told me to send you an update for Iggy's page, so here goes :) Time for an Iggy update! We are coming up on 4 weeks with this goofball in our house, can't believe it! We are accident free (woohoo!) and getting along with the other two dogs very well. The cat continues to be a challenge, with Iggy wanting to chase and bark at her, but we are gradually moving toward not obsessing over her, and being able to be called away when looking at her. We are still avoiding face to face encounters at this time, and Iggy is always leashed if she is wandering around. Iggy has been out and about on many walks, and has made lots of progress sitting off the side of the path or passing other people depending on the moment. We encountered some moments where, out of frustration and confusion, Iggy would redirect and nip at his leash, or the pant leg or sleeve of the leash handler during tense encounters. For this reason, and along with guidance from Iggy's awesome trainer Liz, we have started muzzle training, and are utilizing a muzzle during our walks. We think Iggy pulls it off quite stunningly! It has allowed us to walk him on a simple slip collar, and to further work on his leash manners and stranger reactivity. Can't wait to see where this goes! Over the past couple weeks, Iggy has enjoyed adventures at Willow River state park (surrounded by lots of people and dogs), Kinnikinnic State park (where we only encountered two people, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset and lots of great smells) a small neighborhood park (where he experienced crossing a creek), and many times through the UW River Falls college campus (where we often work on leash reactions around strangers).   After a visit with the vet on Tuesday,  we have started the exciting process of weaning Iggy off of Trazodone, a sedative medication Iggy has been getting twice a day. We are hoping getting this medication out of his system will allow Iggy to have a more even energy level,  and will allow him to better process new information and learn new things. We know there is a goofy, playful dude under there,  and we are hoping this medication change will help us find him! Today we are at half his previous dose, and if all goes well,  Iggy will be trazodone free in a month. He will remain on an antianxiety medication,  as well as benadryl for the time being, to help him cope with his anxiety.   Iggy has also had two very positive encounters with visitors in our house, one with Trainer Liz, and one with a fellow boxer lover. He took a little time to warm up, but was able to relax, accept treats and even accept touches/pets by the end of the visit. Way to go Iggy! We can't wait to see what else Iggy has to teach us in the coming weeks! *Update 2/19/2020* Neighborhood watch hounds! Iggy is learning to really like the place bed. And he's pulling Lyra out of her shell and getting her to wrestle! She still doesn't know what to do with a boxer punch, but she's getting better at play bows and dodging. Parker is still a little grumbly in the house (his norm until a dog is fully incorporated into the pack), but loves a good game of chase in the back yard. The cat is another story...Iggy has a similar reaction to her as to unfamiliar people outside. Something to continue working on.  Today's progress,  learning to relax on a place bed,  and following commands at the vet (no interactions with strangers,  just responding to my commands and observing/ listening to new voices)    *Update 2/2/2020* Iggy here! My foster parents said it's time for an update, so here goes: I love snuggling and sneaking in to their bed at night when they are sleeping. I still have accidents in my kennel or safe space, but have had some "pee free" days.   A neat lady came over to our house to help my foster parents learn behavioral therapy tactics, because my anxiety means I don't do well with traditional training methods.  Sometimes I just don't know what to do with myself so I pace around and bark. I heard somebody say they're going to change my medications again soon. I'm hoping that will help me relax more.   That's all for now. Maybe somebody out there is looking for a special dog just like me. *Update 1/14/2020* Iggy has been in our home as a foster for 10 weeks. We have three dogs (two Boxers and a Pug) that Iggy gets along amazingly well with!  Iggy has adjusted well to me and my husband; he follows our commands, loves to snuggle us and loves to spend time with us. Every night when he is told to go to bed, he will get up, walk into our bedroom, and lay down dog bed that is next to our bed. He sleeps well for 8 to 10 hours every night. Iggy had difficulty with us leaving for work in the beginning. Despite going willingly into the kennel, he cried while we are gone, and had accidents in the kennel almost daily. After trying several different methods to make him more comfortable without his humans, we have found he does well in a "safe space". Iggy's "safe space" is a small hallway in our home with a gate on the doorway. He is fed in there, has a blanket and is given a frozen Kong or other puzzle toy while we are getting ready to leave. As long as we leave without making a big fuss over it, he is content in here for several hours. He no longer cries when we are gone and has fewer accidents than before. When we are home with him, he lays down calmly on his bed near us, plays with the other dogs and his toys, and seems content. The exception to this is when visitors and other members of the household come and go.  Iggy has not had an opportunity to bond with the other two adults in our home, and he is not happy about that. He simply does not feel safe around people he does not know. When they come and go, Iggy gets tense and barks at them. We are working with a behavioralist and the vet on these behaviors, and to help Iggy feel safe with the world around him. Iggy is on Paxil and Trazone twice daily, and needs continued behavioral thearpy to get his anxious reactions under control.  Hes also undergoing medical evaluation due to the frequent accidents he has as well as the fact that he eats up to four cups of food per day but is slow to gain any weight. Additionally, in the last couple of weeks he seems to be having an allergic reaction to something in his food, meds or environment. Iggy is on a behavioral hold and cannot currently be adopted. We are looking for a long term foster home for him. The ideal long term foster home is an experienced, quiet, adult only home that is able to spend time working with Iggy and MNBR to navigate through the complexities of his health and behavior. While his needs are significant, he is worth it. Dogs like Iggy are the reason for rescue!  *Update 11/19/2019* Iggy is settling into our home, but we need to do some continued work on his barking when he is bored or anxious. His anxiety makes him somewhat edgy around males that he does not know or has not learned to trust. He has a UTI that he is being treated for and continues to be on medication for his anxiety.  The UTI wakes him up a couple times every night,  but accidents in the house are very minimal. The good news as we discovered that he will eat well if we just mix his regular food with wet food,  so we are hopeful for him to gain weight. He also does amazing with our other dogs, and loves logs loves to play with them.  He knows many commands, including sit, stay, down, kennel, and go sleepy (a softer version of play dead) Iggy  will need more time and training before he can meet families and go to events. For now, he is cozy and comfy with his foster family.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
