Dog from the first databaseUnfortunately, Dallas has returned to FHS so his forever home was not forever. He was picked up by the Sherman Animal Control running in a field. He was suffering from severe malnutrition. The owner was contacted but was unable to care for him anymore. Dallas is now healthy and happy. All he wants in life is to be with someone. He is so lovable and gets along well with everyone he meets. Dallas will make a great addition to a family, he loves to play fetch, play in the water, is great on a leash, and will gladly lay around all day! And although he is 11 years old (date of birth 4/30/2009), Dallas has the spirit of a puppy! $165 Adoption Fee For further information please email the address in the box to the right. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Adoption counselors are onsite every Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm. Our next Meet and Greet Dog event will be the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of the month from 12-4pm at the Frisco Petsmart. The Frisco Petsmart is located at 3333 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75034 in the Stonebriar Centre near Tuesday Morning and DSW.

I am such a sweetheart in the bath! I am crate trained and housebroken. I know how to sit, lay down, shake, and I walk well on a leash. I LOVE TOYS and to catch my ball in the air. I am in a foster home with a 9 year old child and I do great with him! I would most likely be a car chaser if given the chance, so please keep me on leash whenever I am outside of a fenced yard. We could write a novel about Freya but will try and leave it short and sweet. Freya is our honorary shelter mascot. She has been with us for 6 months due to issues with her leg. Freya will need an adopter who is committed to getting her the vet care for her hips that she will possibly need in the near future. Freya is on pain medication daily as well as weight management food. She knows how to make us all smile with her seal walk, her kisses, and zoomies around the shelter. Freya is about 6 years old, picky with her friends (meet and greet with other family dogs required), not a fan of female dogs, and is a good car buddy. This guy is quickly learning that life ain't so bad! He loves everyone, he loves to snuggle in comfy spot. He is learning how fun toys are. He has barked for the first time. He's skin and body are still in rough shape, but this new life he's leading, it is healing quickly. Jeff, one lucky homeless dog rescued from Mexico. Skin and bones, 6 years old and about 42 pounds. He was so emaciated. Sweet but you can tell he was weak and in need of lots of TLC. Jeff couldn’t hold down puppy food so foster started with chicken and broth; soon there after he was eating the puppy food to help strengthen him up. Despite his neglect, within 72 hours we could start to see his personality come out and he’s just goofy! All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax = $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect.
