Story
DOB ~ 8/1/11 Breed/ Coloring: DSH/Siamese Mix / Lynx Point Agnes is a sweet, playful, outgoing girl. She is very social and loves people. She adores being scratched under her chin, by her ears, and even rolls over for tummy rubs. She likes to follow her foster mom around and keep a close eye on whats going on, especially if running water is involved (she finds it fascinating). She also likes to watch out the window and keep an eye on the happenings outside. Agnes uses her litterbox perfectly. She appreciates good conversation and can be talkative at times. Agnes is special needs because she has a serious chewing habit. She likes to chew on fabric, shoe laces, etc. Her forever family will need to be extremely cautious about what is left accessible to her. She may need to be confined to a room without material (a large bathroom perhaps) whenever she is not being monitored. We are working on this behavior with her, but have not yet found a solution to prevent the chewing behavior. In her previous home she lived with another cat and a dog and loved them both, but she is a bit too much for the more reserved kitty in her foster home. Therefore we believe Agnes would do best in a home with a more confident, playful kitty, or as an only cat. Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Agnes' adoption fee is $100 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption. Story
**Theo is an FIV+ cat with a lot of love to give!** DOB: ~ 3/2009 - 3/2011? Breed/Color: DSH/ Orange Tabby Looking for a cuddle buddy with a little spunk and lots of character? Theo has had a challenging life (living on the streets, ending up on the euthanasia list at the Humane Society, major dental work, and hip surgery) and he is finally ready to find his forever home! After all he has been through, Theo has decided that he shouldn't have to share his people with other animals. He would like to be the only pet in the home. He is FIV+, which means he will need good canned food and regular vet checks. Theo likes to cuddle, loves food, and adores his catnip toys! He has some hip issues (mild hip Dysplasia in the Left and had surgery on the Right) and has a limp, but gets around great. He has gone to physical therapy and he loves it. He has a few exercises that his foster does with him everyday to help keep his muscles in good shape, but they only take a few minutes. He is sensitive about his hips being touched and can get bitey if you don't respect his limits. However, he no longer has any canine teeth, so he can't really do any damage. Since he needs people that can understand his body language and respect his limits, he needs a home without children. Theo is a good boy that deserves a great home. He will crawl up on your lap to be brushed or just snuggle next to you for a catnap. He is a special cat that needs a special family to love and spoil him! Could that be you? Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Theo's adoption fee is $50 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption. Story
DOB: ~7/1/13 Breed/Coloring: DSH/ Tabby & White Hello, I'm Sophia! I have the most amazing big, beautiful, green eyes and cute little freckles on my legs. I'm an independent girl but love to spend time with my people, too. You'll be able to tell which mood I'm in. When I'm really happy to see you, I will tell you with my cute little meows. When I just want to be left alone to chill and relax, I will find a quiet spot to hang out solo. I'm looking for someone who will be okay with either mood. Someone who will just be happy to have me around! My foster mom likes my personality and says I am an enjoyable presence. As for other animals, I want to be the only pet in my forever home. This is how I'm the happiest and feel the most comfortable. I love hanging out in the window and playing with my toys - I especially love to play with the wand toy and my catnip toys! When it comes to petting, I love to have my chin and face scratched. And when I'm in the mood to snuggle, my foster mom says I'm a great "spooner." As for the basics, I got 'em mastered - I use my litter box like a champ. I'm doing well with my scratch post training and my foster mom can see how smart I am! We're also making progress trimming my nails - regular practice and going at my pace has helped me to do better with those. I can still get uncomfortable with it and I need a person who understands cats like me that doesn't always like to be "handled". Someone who can be patient with me and can give me breaks. I'm particular about who I love and I take my time getting to know new people, so I prefer to be the one to initiate petting and handling. But once I'm comfortable with you, I love to be loved on. I'm looking for a calmer home - no young children please - they're less predictable and very active. It's really important to me that everyone is respectful of my space consistently and reliably. If you can be patient, don't have any other pets, have a quiet house, and want an independent buddy...you're in luck! I'm the purrfect match! Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Sophia's adoption fee is $100 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption. Story
He was rescued as a kitten from a ferral cat about 5 years ago by a friend of a friend. I got him when he was about 4 months old. I had him fixed and all his shots. He is such a little lover and snuggler but nervous until he gets very comfortable. It has been just myself and Grover my other cat. Grover is outgoing and likes to meet people, go outside but doesn't sit around. They chase each other some but Grover is kind of a bully and they aren't really close. I think Mason would like a nice animal friend. The people I got him from had other dogs and cat. Who ever does adopt my baby will need some patience, he will find a favorite hiding spot and will eventually come out. I don't think kids will work with him and a mellow place would be best.
