I adopted Juju and Beans in Louisiana in the summer of 2007. While this profile is for Juju, I’m really hoping the siblings can stay together. Juju and Beans are super friendly cats that would be great in any loving home! They love to be pet, nap on or near you and snuggle. They love to play with toys and with each other! You’ll also find them cuddled up next to each other taking naps. I’ve had no issues with either cat and that makes this decision really difficult. My circumstances have changed and I can tell I am not giving the cats as much attention as they deserve. I would love to find a loving home for them as soon as possible.

Gowan (Gow, GowMeow, GowGow) really is a great pet. She likes to sit on your lap and enjoys a good ear rub once she trusts you. Gowan is roughly 11 years old but, she hasn't lost a step. Still likes to play and run around and really likes to go outside (which really isn't an option since we moved back to MN and are in an apartment.) She has no illness to speak of and plenty of life left. She's lived with us, including our other cat Marley for the last ten years. Unfortunately, after having our first child three months ago, we just don't have time to give her the attention she needs. Poor Gow is getting lonely and needs a loving new owner.

Nala was born around December of 2013. We adopted Nala and she grew into a petite adult, about 9 pounds. Nala loves to chase twisty-ties and plastic caps! She'll rub up against you for attention and will sometimes want to sit on your lap. She's also quite content keeping to herself. She loves to eat! Nala is fully house-trained with up-to-date vaccinations, and is spayed.

Bennie is one of a bonded pair of cats, the other being Lily. They've lived together almost their entire lives with the same owner. They are very happy to be on your lap or next to you in bed or on the couch. They are not declawed but have just had their nails trimmed by our vet, who also administered rabies shots to both. Bennie is about 12 years old. Lily is about 10.

I'm a transfer from a local impound in MN. From the foster: Hi, I'm Hootie! I bet you have never met a kitten as spunky as me! I love to do all your typical kitten things like running, jumping and pouncing! But you know what I love more? Wrestling! Once all my wrestling charades are over, I'm ready to snuggle and show you my soft side. I came into the rescue as a single kitten with no siblings, so I'm still learning to be a gentleman. Because I didn't have siblings to show me the ropes, I'm still a little mouthy and can play a bit rough with other cats and dogs, which means I might not be the best choice for small children. I would love to have a buddy to play with and continue to show me to be the best little kitty I can be! Medical Bio:Hello! Throughout my veterinary care at Secondhand Hounds, it was discovered that I have a grade 4/6 heart murmur. I had a cardiologist and echocardiogram performed. The SHH Vet Team recommends that I stay on my current medication and have an echocardiogram rechecked in 6 months. My future adopter can choose to pursue further cardiac consultation/treatment per a primary veterinarian's recommendations at their own expense.
