So many needy kitties... How do you know what kitty is right for you and your family? Do you have time for a kitten? Do you have patience for a shy kitty? Do you have pets already in the home? Do you need a 'life of the party'? Need a sidekick or a reading partner? Never had a pet before and need some guidance? Maybe you just aren't seeing the 'right one' yet? We are trying out a Blind Date Adoption program! Send us an email (kittycolony@hotmail.com) titled 'Blind Date Adoption' and tell us about yourself, your family, your other pets, what you want in a kitty, and about your busy (or not busy) lifestyle and we will MATCH a kitty to YOU! We know our kitties best, and we have many who are not listed in our online adoption sites. They are great kitties, but it can be tough to find them forever homes. Adoption is a big decision! Take the pressure off yourself! Leave it to the experts! We can get to know you, and help you choose the right addition to your home. For this program, if you accept your referral for a kitty we match you with, you will take them home on a trial run. This trial period will last 2-4 weeks for you to bond and make sure everything is as it should be. You would be fostering the kitty with the intention of adopting at the end of the trial period. If something should happen to go wrong, the kitty will come back to us! Our kitties always have a home with us here at the rescue. Their foster families love them and while we want them to get adopted, we will always, always, ALWAYS take them back. Prior to taking a kitty home, an adoption application must be completed either in person when you meet the kitty we refer to you, or online at kittycolony.com All cat from our rescue are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and regularly treated with flea and worm preventatives. Our adoption fees range by age and will be due in half when you take the kitty home, and the other half when you finalize the adoption 2-4 weeks later. $100 for a kitten under a year $160 for two kittens under a year $75 for a cat 1-2 years old $50 for a cat over 3 years Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
