Story
Ivy is just such an amazing girl. She is a 5-6 year old Cream Point Ragdoll girl. She is initially shy and will hide from you, but once you pick her up and love on her, she is a purr machine. She has the softest fur and the bluest eyes. She is a bit scared of other cats, so she might be happy as an only cat, but I also think she would be fine in a quiet home with an easy-going cat. We will be very, very picky about this special girl, so be on your toes when you apply. :) If you are interested in Ivy, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. She is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Her adoption fee is $275. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Story
Candy is just as sweet as her name. This tiny girl, less than four pounds, is solid white with blue eyes. She is so tiny she is actually a bit fragile. No small children. No dogs. She would do better in a quieter, easy-going home. We will be very particular where this sweet, tiny girl goes. She really is not special needs even though she is a tripod. The only thing she needs is a short litterbox. If you are interested in this tiny girl, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. She is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Story
Max is a 3 year old Brown Tabby with white Persian. Max was surrendered for litter box issues, but we have not seen those here. He did have a urinary tract infection when he arrived and that has been treated. We will be looking for an experienced Persian adopter in his case And one that will be willing to keep an eye on his litter box habits and contact us if help is needed. Max gets along well with other cats but would also be very happy in his own home without other cats. He has been around children and we would send him into a home with older children. If you are interested in adopting him please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $275.
