I am more independent than my siblings, but I love attention and cuddles from my foster. I’m very playful and love playing with my siblings.  I was rescued with my siblings at a marina and kept safe until NTCR had a foster home available for me. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.comLexi was rescued from the Collin County Animal Shelter shortly after weaning a litter of kittens. She was still a kitten herself when she became a mother. Another group rescued Lexi's kittens, but left her at the shelter. NTCR quickly pulled Lexi from the shelter when we discovered what happened. The sudden separation from her kittens and move to her own foster home was a difficult transition. On top of it, Lexi immediately came down with a respiratory infection. She made a full recovery after a couple weeks, but the stress left a mark on Lexi. For this reason, Lexi can be a little nervous and cautious around humans. She does eventually warm up and will seek out attention, but it has to be initiated by her. When she is comfortable, she turns into a love bug. I (her foster mom) can always tell when Lexi wants to be loved on. She sits directly in front of me and stares into my soul. She really is a sweet kitty with a gentle personality. Lexi desperately wants to be friends with all the cats in her foster home. She would love to have another kitty in her new home for companionship. Lexi loves naps on the couch and cat tree. She sleeps at the foot of my bed every night. She is great at using the many scratching posts in her foster home and has perfect litter box manners. Lexi's perfect home would be a quiet place, a kitty friend, and a family willing to give her as much patience and time as she needs.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.comTina is a sweet young cat who has epilepsy.  She was on medication as a kitten, but it wasn't making too much of a difference on her seizures.  She has been off her seizure medication for a while now, and while she does have the occasional seizure, the number has reduced from when she first came back to us.  Her foster Mom has observed that Tina does better in a quit environment.  While she get's along with submissive cats, she would be better off in a home with no cats or just 1 other submissive kitty.  She is ok with calm dogs, but isn't too happy around the puppy in her foster home! Tina loves cuddling with her foster Mom on the sofa or on the bed, she just loves being around people.  She loves to hoard hair ties in the food bowl, every morning foster Mom will find quite a collection in the food bowl when she goes to fill it up! She's super playful and very affectionate and a little goofy!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Story
*Courtesy Listing* Jack & Jill are 10 years old, and are brother and sister from the same litter. They have had one owner who passed away recently. They are indoor kitties that need a lap to lay on. They like to snuggle, play, and bird-watch. They are ok with non-aggressive dogs.  They have been around small children a few times.  They are quite active for 10 year-old kitties. Jack and Jill look forward to taking their thyroid medication twice a day in a bit of tuna fish. They are also FeLV positive, which is contagious to other cats but not dogs or people.  If you are interested in adopting one or both of these kitties, please complete an adoption application and we will send your information to their foster. https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ The adoption is not affiliated with Legacy Humane Society. I small re-homing fee may be required. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.comHi!  I'm Bobble.  My foster family named me that since I have a big ol' Bobblehead.  hahaha  I do!  And I like to give great head butts with it, too!  I'm so sweet and loving and big as I am, I'm just a little timid in new situations but warm up quickly to people.  I love people!  I love to eat, too!  Wet food, dry food, and treats!  Mmmmmm.  No wonder I'm a big boy!  I am FIV+ but no worries!  It is only transferred from blood - aka deep bite wounds - and I am too laid back and lazy to fight or bite! I live in harmony with another FIV kitty and non FIV kitties in my foster home.  You do need to watch my teeth - sometimes us FIV kitties need those checked out on a yearly basis - but you'll be taking me to the vet annually anyway, so no biggie, right?   Do you have room in your heart for me?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
