Meet Tess, this little lady is such a sweet cuddle bug. Her most favorite thing in the world is a large soft bed to snuggle up in. She claimed the largest bed in her fosters home and whenever she is not hanging out with the other dogs in the home they can always find her snoozing in her bed. Tess is currently in a foster home with other dogs, large and small and also a cat and she does great with everyone. If you are searching for a well behaved little companion to snuggle up with at the end of every day look no further! Tess is your girl. Meet Chevy! This little guy came to CARE from a rural shelter in a place called Goliad, TX. He is a quiet well behaved 6 month old little pup who is very happy about having a future with a loving forever family! We arent quite sure of Chevy's breed mix but we think he may have some Dachshund in the mix because of his long body and short legs. Since coming to us Chevy has been in a forever home with his brother Rocket and a few playmates and he is settling in very well with family life. Out of both brothers Chevy is the most outgoing one. **PLEASE READ** Sweet, spunky, sparkling Maggie is ready for her best lifetime home! Maggie is an absolutely beautiful girl; but more than this, she is extra special in many other ways. Therefore, we are looking for an extra-special adopter. So please look beyond Maggie's gorgeous appearance and carefully read what Maggie needs for her happiest life. Maggie was surrendered to us when her previous guardians could not care for her properly, causing an excessive and dangerous amount of weight gain. All this stress on Maggie's little body created a back injury, rendering Maggie completely helpless and unable to walk. With months of the very best of our care Maggie is now at her ideal weight of 15-16 pounds, and she is strong, healthy, spry and plays with toys with abandon! Maggie's best home will be one level with access to an outside tidy, fully fenced yard and manicured lawn; no stairs; someone willing to install ramps if needed; a home with a small doggie and/or kitty friend; no children or large dogs; someone home full or part time; and someone experienced, willing and able to continue with Maggie's gentle lifestyle of strolls around a grassy yard, slow and steady walks on flat trails and visits to the beach. Maggie will come with her special supplements and food recommendations, in addition to lots of guidance and education on how to keep her body healthy.
