Story
Lucio is an adorable dachshund mix who loves humans, dogs and cats! He is as happy to go on a walk as he is to sit right alongside you. Lucio is a calmer dog and is very obedient; always looking to his human companion for direction and care. Lucio is a bit shy at first and wants to avoid any conflicts with other animals. He would be happy as a solo dog or in a home where the other animals are not too assertive. NOTE: In many cases, these dogs are located in La Paz, BCS, Mexico in foster homes. We transport them to their adopted homes via air transport with a volunteer.

Story
Charlie and Buddy are in a foster home, and are currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt them.Charlie and Buddy are a bonded pair of doxies and are a package deal. Buddy is 8 years old, and Charlie is 12 years old.Buddy is active, playful, loving, and very well behaved. He will seek belly rubs. Charlie is blind, and loves to be held and petted to ensure he is with company. They both warm up quickly, are gentle, and love their humans. They may require a pee pad in the home or male wraps/ diapers to avoid accidents. They have been going out every 3-4 hours with their foster family. Charlie needs to be carried outside for potty breaks but does move around the house at his own pace. They both have recently recovered from dental surgery. This dashing due is looking for an adult-only, forever home that is sensitive to their needs, can give them great care and love. A place where someone is at home and can tend to their needs throughout the day would be ideal, particularly with easy and frequent access to the outdoors for potty breaks. If Buddy and Charlie sound like a good fit for your home, fill out an application today! The adoption fee for both is $200 (excluding a pet license if Seattle city residents).HOW TO ADOPT - Please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at http://www.seattle.gov/animalshelter/forms.htm and email it to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foster Dog Program at adoptionreview@gmail.com.IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and the Seattle Animal Shelter asks for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. Story
** FOSTER OR ADOPTION ** Meet Dusty he is a 7 years old Doxie/Chi he has a sister named cinnamon. Dusty looks out for his sister and would like to stay with her. Dusty is good with other dogs but has food aggression so that needs worked with. Dusty needs lil leash training and Matt need potty training refreshing, we don't anticipate this will take long as they are eager to please. Dusty enjoys riding in the car and cuddling. We are looking for a foster home or adopter. Whoever gets there precious dogs will be blessed. 🐾Disclaimer Often with rescue surrenders we are not told much about the dogs we take in and we want you to understand that they may have issues that we are unaware of. We do our very best to ensure we are placing them in homes they will fit in. They maybe afraid, not potty trained, or leash trained, may need time to adjust, give cuddles etc but one thing we know is that they are needing a home in which they can feel safe and loved and in return they will do the same. If interested in adopting please fill out the application and for fostering please message us seattledogs@hotmail.com Seattle Dogs/Seattle Dogs Homeless Program is a 501c3 that helps both homeless and surrendered dogs find loving homes. Adoption fees go to support vetting and anything left over transfers to another pet in need.
