Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.  Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  TOOTSIE is a beautiful girl who is friendly, just shy initially, loves hanging out on our lap and very social with other dogs.  She came from a home that didn't spay or neuter and in just a couple of years ended up with more than 30 dogs!  Her new family MUST have a securely fenced yard as she has no concept of leash walking. wl We think the girls were kept inside with potty pads and the boys outside so the girls still prefer pads to potty on and we are working on that while with us. She needs a family who is willing and able to work with her training.  She's so sweet and deserves to live a loved and doted life full of great care for the rest of her life.  Is that you? &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Charlie and Buddy are in a foster home, and are currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt them.Charlie and Buddy are a bonded pair of doxies and are a package deal. Buddy is 8 years old, and Charlie is 12 years old.Buddy is active, playful, loving, and very well behaved. He will seek belly rubs. Charlie is blind, and loves to be held and petted to ensure he is with company. They both warm up quickly, are gentle, and love their humans. They may require a pee pad in the home or male wraps/ diapers to avoid accidents. They have been going out every 3-4 hours with their foster family. Charlie needs to be carried outside for potty breaks but does move around the house at his own pace. They both have recently recovered from dental surgery. This dashing due is looking for an adult-only, forever home that is sensitive to their needs, can give them great care and love. A place where someone is at home and can tend to their needs throughout the day would be ideal, particularly with easy and frequent access to the outdoors for potty breaks. If Buddy and Charlie sound like a good fit for your home, fill out an application today! The adoption fee for both is $200 (excluding a pet license if Seattle city residents).HOW TO ADOPT - Please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at http://www.seattle.gov/animalshelter/forms.htm and email it to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foster Dog Program at adoptionreview@gmail.com.IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and the Seattle Animal Shelter asks for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. Indi is 4 years of old, and a precious little spirit. She takes her “one person” job extremely serious, and DOES NOT do well with competition - animals, or children. We have been together since she was 6 weeks old, and looking for a home void of other animals, or children.

Story
We have had Kaci for 14 yrs, she is about to turn 15. Recently she has become Territorial with our other dog and has bitten him twice. We have twin five-year-old kids and I’m getting concerned she could bite their face as she growls when they get near and they don’t understand boundaries. Kaci also marks her bed frequently and would do well with a space of her own. She would do well in a home with no little children and likely no other pets. She is physically very strong and active but she does have vision problems. She is super cute and loving to her owners. Thanks!
