Story
This girl loves people! She is very attached to her buddy A749712. We are requesting that they get adopted to the same family. We are offering a 2 for 1 special for an adopter who adopts both Kido and A749712. She is very good with this dog but does not like other dogs especially females. If she is adopted by herself then she must be the only dog in the home. She has a history of impound so would need a fenced yard and would not be a candidate for off-leash parks.

Story
Hope is a sweet, sensitive girl. Breed knowledge is essential for this breed. Kuvasz dogs are flock guarding dogs. They are not necessarily comfortable with strangers and new situations. Please research the breed( if you are not familar with them). These dogs are ideally suited to an acreage type lifestyle. We will require a consult with a dog trainer or a class to be taken by Hope's new owners, to help her adjust to her new home. This is not an apartment type dog and we think a household, where she is the only dog would suit her best. An adult or older children home, would also suit her personality.

This boy loves people! He is very attached to his buddy A749711. We are requesting that they get adopted to the same family. We are offering a 2 for 1 special for an adopter who is able to adopt both Rocky and A749711. He is very good with this dog but does not like other dogs especially males. If he is adopted by himself then he must be the only dog in the home. He has a history of impound so would need a fenced yard and would not be a candidate for off-leash parks.

NEW ADOPTION PROCESS: Please fill in the Dog Lifestyle Survey found on the How to Adopt page on www.calgaryhumane.ca (please include my name and animal reference number) and e-mail it to adopt@calgaryhumane.ca if you are interested in adopting me! Serious inquiries only. Hiii y'all! My name is Boomer and I am a sweet sweet boy looking for a home to call my own. My ideal home will have dog experience and lots of energy and patience to provide me with the daily exercise I need as well as help me work on my manners. A nice fenced backyard would be pretty sweet too! My friends at the shelter believe that attending Polite Pooches would be amazing for us together, we can learn and grow our bond stronger. Kiddos are pretty awesome, but I am looking for a home where they can't be so easily knocked over, because I get pretty excited and a very big boy. Therefore, I am looking for a home with no human siblings under 14 years old. Doggie siblings would potentially be cool, but it's important they have a similar energy level and size, and are as confident and playful as I am. Food is life and so I'm not the best at sharing it, adopters must be willing manage and help me work on resource guarding if there's another pupper around. As for kitties, they must be dog savvy for it to work out between us.

Serious inquiries only.Behold hoomans, Walter here! I am a young, energetic, fun loving boy looking for a home to call my very own. I was a stray so my friends at CHS don't know much about my past. I am looking for a patient and experienced home that can help me work on my manners, including walking on a leash... those things are just no fun, you know? I'll also need some help with house training. A fenced in backyard is a must to help me burn extra energy. Couch potatoes need not apply, because a young boy like will need plenty of play time. Small animals are just a little too fun so it is best if there is none in your home. Kiddos can be pretty awesome, but I need me some that are not so easily knocked over, so 8+ would be best. If I sound like a good match to your home, contact my friends in adoptions to learn more about me. I can't wait to meet you!
