Story
Octavia is a sweet and gentle young girl dog, who appreciates the following: walks in nature, people who are sweet and gentle and a good ole snooze in the sun. During our recent shelter in place, Octavia spent time in a wonderful foster home where her people walked every day. She loved it! And Octavia hung out with an older Labrador, who was the ultimate gentleman. She would appreciate a similar setting in her new home. Octavia is still a young dog, really an older puppy. She will appreciate some gentle guidance as she becomes a member of your family. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 38 Age: 1yrs 7mths 3wks

Xena is in need of a new home. Unfortunately, her owner doesn’t have the time, attention and patience to train her properly. She is a 4 year old white/brown German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. She weighs around 73 pounds.  She is super sweet and loves belly rubs and lots of attention. She is up to date on vaccinations and is spade. She is great with people and children. She’s not very good with cats and has fear aggression towards other dogs. Xena would be considered to have low-medium energy level. She is good on a leash and knows the basic commands. She is housebroken as long as she’s on a consistent schedule or with access to get outside with a pet door. Xena’s owner is located in Tracy, CA. Story
Say hello to this big warm mug of chocolate and cream! Mocha has the heart the size of her big adorable head and lives to love her people. She doesn't let her size stop her from being a lapdog. She also never lets her past knee injury affect her uplifting attitude. Our fantastic Shelter Medicine team was able to perform a repair surgery on her knee to give Mocha the the opportunity to live her best life. We thoroughly believe that Mocha is searching for that Wine Country dream: lazying about on her porch in the sun looking out over vineyards and green hills every day. We think Mocha would do great as a family dog with children old enough to understand her sensitive soul. Primary Color: Buff Secondary Color: White Weight: 20 Age: 5yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Heidi is a mellow and sweet Boxer mix. That is saying a lot! While Boxers tend to the high energy side, and Heidi is active, but over the top so. She absolutely loves to sniff and hunt for treasures while on walks. We take dogs to the upper yard and hide treats along the logs and Heidi is a champ at finding them! Heidi came to our shelter searching for a new home and wouldn't you know it? The shelter in place happened! But our staff and small group of volunteers have been keeping her busy and engaged, while we all figured out the next step. Heidi is an adult dog who would do best in a home where her people are patient, while she settles in. Heidi is going to make some family very happy. Primary Color: White Weight: 61 Age: 3yrs 3mths 3wks
