Story
Chavo is a nice 4 year old boy who was found in Sacramento and came to us through another rescue group. He has been in foster now for about a year. He is a gentleman in their home and loves his time in the backyard sunshine. Much work has been done to improve his walking skills and he loves long walks in Creekside. Chavo does not like other dogs, and a home with older kids or adults only would be best. If you are interested in setting up a meet with Chavo, please contact the shelter at (707) 996-4577.

Story
Gretchen came back to us recently after not working out with the family that adopted her. She is ready for the next chapter of her life, one full of love and carefree. She is a cuddlebug with people that she trusts, though it can take a little while for her to warm up to people. Gretchen has gotten along with other small dogs in her foster home with careful introductions and would do best in a home with older kids or adults only. If you would like to meet with Gretchen please fill out an Adoption Application at petslifeline.org and we can set up an appointment for a meet and greet.

Story
Unfortunately my mother is no longer able to care for her dog Raz, as she has dementia and we need to move her to an environment were she has more care. Raz is a loyal, loving 38lb lap dog. He went thru a 6 week board and train program about 3 years ago but my mother has not been able to keep up with the training. He know 'family dog' basics... sit, wait, ok. He is very willing to please and is very trainable. When given praise he is sure to smile at you. He will need someone with patiences, someone who is willing to work on training with him - including potty training. He knows to go outside but that is one of our issues as my mother forgets to let him out so he has been peeing in the house and will need a refresher.
