Story
Leo is a happy little senior guy who somehow ended up at the shelter and was in danger of being euthanized.  He had horrible teeth and an infection and bad arthritis.  He is currently in a loving foster home waiting for his forever home. We took care of his teeth and he is on medication to help with his arthritis.  He is a playful loving dog.

Story
Mr. Pickles is a sweet and goofy tiny senior. He has not shown any fear or sadness since being rescued from the shelter. Poor little boy had an oronasal fistula, as well as horrible teeth. He had trouble eating, as the food would slide down the wrong way and it was extremely uncomfortable for him. I think maybe he only ate as much as his tiny belly needed to quiet down, because eating any more than that hurt him. =(  Luckily he had a dental, and the hole in his mouth was fixed. Now he is even happier than before, and eats as much as he wants to. He has about 1 whole tooth left, and his tongue hangs out. He has cataracts, but I really don't see it hindering him at all. He will come over and nudge me for pets on his head, and if you scratch his butt, he'll do a little dance with his back legs and wag his tail. He enjoys sleeping most of the day, in whatever nest he's created. Sometimes he will just appear and jump up on me for some snuggles. If he jumps out of his nest, I take that as a sign that he has to go potty or he's hungry. I've only witnessed a couple accidents, but I think that's because I wasn't paying attention to his signs. The best method for him is to take him outside as often as you are able and he'll do what he needs to. He enjoys other dogs, and doesn't pay attention to the cats. He is fine sleeping in a bed on the floor, but he is also fine in bed with his person. If he is in a room and wants to come out, you will hear him bark, but other than that, he hasn't barked.
