Story
I adopted Millie a few months ago. Unfortunately the woman I got her from lied about some key details. She is not good with other dogs but we’ve been working with her and she has made progress. Although she loves kids, when there are a lot of kids around she gets anxiety and starts to nip (not aggressively) to play. I think she would benefit from a calm home. Maybe with just a couple or even someone who has one or two older kids. When it’s just me and her throughout the day she is amazing. When the kids and more people start coming home her anxiety levels go up. She is very sweet, just not the right fit for our chaotic and large family.

Story
Saide came to us from a back yard where she had little human interaction, as a result she is skittish of meeting new people. Quick movements frighten her, and she'd do best in a home where she has peaceful but abundent attention. Sadie is not recommended for families with children under the age of 15. Animal Rescue Recon makes sure that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong. Story
Meet Simon. Simon is a two-year-old Shih Tzu Pomeranian mix. He is a sweet boy who likes to cuddle. Simon likes other dogs and would do best in a home with another small dog. Young toddlers scare him, so a home with older children or adults is fine. Simon is potty trained and current on vaccines. Simon will be neutered as soon as we are able to schedule the surgery. Simon is currently fostered a little north of Chico If you would like more information on Simon contact Tamara at (925) 642-6496 or email animalrescuerecon@gmail.com Animal Rescue Recon makes sure that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong. Story
Meet Quinn - a one-year-old sweet, spunky and confident terrier mix. She loves to play hard but also loves to cuddle. She would do best in a home where she would get daily walks and socialization with other dogs. She could use some manners when other dogs approach on walks but we are working on that and she seems eager to learn. For the quickest response please forward answers to the following questions to graciabutter@gmail.com • What city do you live in? • Do you rent or own? • Any children in the home? What ages? • What is your work schedule? Family schedule? • How many hours per day would the pet be left alone? • Any other pets in the home? If so, what type? • Provide detailed video of your fenced yard - entire perimeter including gates and the bottom of the fencing. The video needs to be up close like I am walking your fenceline myself. The yard must be free of foxtails and fully secured. • A home check may be performed • If "meet & greet" is scheduled, all household members, dogs included, must be present Animal Rescue Recon makes sure that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong.
